My theory is that scar tries to join the white lions for unity but mufasa and their family see it as betrayal and they announce mufasa as king and surabi gets with him which makes it worse. Scar comes back after he gets his scar from the white lions to find mufasa is king. Starting his villain arc.

How so? All of us already knew that Scar would eventually turn against Mufasa and that he gets his scar in this movie. The big question is still: How is this going to happen? And as for now this is still kinda unclear and there are still multiple possible scenarios for the outcome.
@Vadigrie it's the basic scar was going to be king he loved being with mufasa till they got older cause they started drifting apart. Mufasa was caring and open to new things while scar stuck with the traditional lion living. Eventually the love interest comes in and they both take a liking to her she choose the mufasa engaging scar who's already reluctant. And it makes them drift father apart. Scar is the basic lion who holds on to rl lion laws while mufasa wasn't and so he was chose by the others as leader which pissed scar off ultimately and had him turn away. As for the scar, the white lion, hunting accident, or mufasa/sarabi will give it to him. It's not that hard to guess
@@raptressreptile655 But that's exactly my point. You just guessed a lot of that stuff. Personally I really don't agree that Scar is stuck to some traditional lion stuff at all. I think he will loose his respect from the others since he will act as a coward throughout the movie and has some weird morals that are not really fitting for a beloved king. Some people also have the theory that Kiros could also become a part in this by manipulating Scar so he really goes against Mufasa at the end. That love interest stuff was also already clear since the 2019 remake so no spoilers at all here. And when it comes to the scar you just listed multiple outcomes yourself. This is nothing how the Lion King was in the novels. Scar and Mufasa were actual brothers. Mufasa wasn't just a stray. But he was older and stronger. And their father Ahadi preferred him over Scar, whose actual name was Taka. And he got his scar during a confrontation with some water buffalo because he was trying to prove his leadership skills. 🤷♀️ they should have stuck to the true plot, but really put an emphasis on how Ahadi always left Scar in Mufasa's shadow, building up Scar's jealousy for years.
@toluwaseolaoyewilliams3846 well they are using scar's original name in this one so....surely they must be basing it off the novels a bit. 🤷♀️ it's silly. They are trying to turn Scar into some anti-hero turned villain. 🤷♀️

And scar says "I wouldn't dream of challenging you" and then Zazu says "pity, why not?" Scar says "As far as brains go, I got the lion's share, but in terms of brute strength, I'm afraid I'm on the shallow end of the gene pool." As in they had the same genes.

Its interesting that in this movie their making Scar and Mufasa not brothers when in the animated flims its made clear their brothers. Also making Scar of royal blood and Mufasa not it kinda makes Scar seem like he was right in believing he was the rightful king. And also Mufasa says, "Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. And so will I". This line definitely implies that Mufasa comes from a long line of kings. I feel like this movie is messing with some of the basic facts of the Lion King.
That wouldn't be realistic if it was six years.
