I was one of the 4-5 black kids. I had to leave because the harassment was getting to be too much. I miss my home, but you couldn’t pay me to move back. It is good to see you thriving there though! More power to you my love!

I'm black from Toronto, but I visit Vermont often, love it, never get any weird looks from people. They seem progressive even if they're 96% white there, but maybe that's why they can afford to act progressive in Bernie's state because they don't have to live next to anyone who challenges their ideas about race. Either way it makes no difference to me, on the contrary I'd much rather like buying a few hundred acres in Vermont and having no one close enough to bother me lol.

It’s interesting because when you think of the place or Maine you instinctively know, within 5 seconds that it’s covered in one race, or college sceme. Not only does it date back, the caucation race also moved into the new houses. Kept the good jobs, even though the law protects us, 90% officers are white, even Maryland is 75% white. It feels mixed, but the counties Are filled with one race, there’s things we can do to improve that aren’t getting funded, by the oppressors themself.

Most Americans are White. Blacks are 13%, but concentrated in large metro areas. You are not oppressed. If representation truly matters, perhaps you should have less representation.
