Did Channel 5 have the rights to the UEFA Cup around this sort of time? Have vague memories of Jonathan Pearce screaming away and my upstairs TV not having a good reception for that channel…
@@MaximusOwen1 yeah they did, games in the UEFA Cup and Cup Winners Club righters were sold by clubs, so the BBC paid to show Liverpool’s game that season in Europe, Channel 5 brought Aston Villa’s games and some of Chelsea’s games that season. Champions league was an exclusive package brought by ITV Sport
A Much more spirited performance from the Red's tonight, but I fear this is the Exception to the rule, rather than how I expect them to play after this game. Really Not happy.
