Once again twice proved how versatile of a group they are and this Album again, how did we go from Bad girl/girl crush from the start and going to summery vibes and now going through our emotions with the last 2 ballad tracks. Also i love how every track TWICE gave different messages like Self Love, Empowering/motivating song, Family Love, and ofcoarse the last track (PROMISE) TWICE’s love to their fans.... When you re listen with the lyrics you may cry with Thank you Fam as it's written to their parents. It's a song we could all dedicate to our own parents. Promise is written to ONCE. They got really emotional with these songs.
"Promise" will always remain one of my favourite songs of them. The music is beautiful, the lyrics make me feel so loved and I think it's the song that best shows their vocals. Jeongyeon's voice is full of so much warmth and love I can't explain it, and Sana's voice in that chorus after Dahyun is just wow
I wept when I first listened to Promise. Was in a dark place at that moment. I wept while listening to this album, felt much better. These girls have a place in my heart. Their music and shows, just them, got me thru the pandemic. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
PIECES OF LOVE reminds me of 2000s pop music, and the guitar sounds in this song is beautiful. THANK YOU, FAMILY is the iconic R&B track. Yes, it reminds me of 1960s R&B Soul. PROMISE is an awesome ballad. the vocals, piano and strings kill everything.
