Your decks are beautiful, that earth magic deck I was always interested but I haven’t pulled the trigger on buying it. A lot of time I don’t read or use the books at all for meanings. I totally agree that tarot can be overwhelming in terms of learning meanings, reading books, and working with new decks (there are so many!). Maybe I've been looking for the perfect deck, but I've got so many at this point I think it's more about being a magpie :) So what I decided to do was to put away all my decks except for a main tarot deck, an oracle and a Lenormand. I even purchased 3 new decks to do this with so I wouldn't have to reject any of my current ones :) So now I'm using the Moonchild Tarot, the Work Your Light Oracle, and the Mirror Truth Lenormand cards. I chose the MT because I've always wanted it and I knew the guidebook was so good that I wouldn't need any other books; the WYL because Danielle Noel is the artist so it is a good match for the art and a contrast in color to the MT; and the MTL because it's brand new, glossy, and seems very different from typical decks. So far so good. Then in a brilliant bit of synchronicity, I found Trish Sullivan's Facebook page! She does a card a day with a huge variety of decks. I love it because I'm seeing so many different cards AND getting her take on the meanings. Perfect :)
