Another reviewer did a brief side by side comparison in passing of the sharpness settings, with a brick building in the frame at a middle distance, and this clearly showed how setting the sharpness to 'low' made the brickwork into a fuzzy mess. With medium or high, the texture could be seen. In essence, using low sharpness throws away the whole point of the 8k initial resolution. It could be argued that this is a matter of taste, but I think it goes beyond that. I do hope that you may be able to upload a short test video on this one setting at some point, to prove me right or wrong! It really is fundamental IMHO. Otherwise, thanks for this efficient canter through the settings!

Doesnt matter because it's not real 8k footage anyway. It's upscaled footage and that isn't the same thing. I can show you my raw (out of camera) not RAW footage that isn't edited to hell and back by influencers. The footage breaks apart, the artifacts take over the image. As well, focus anything outside of 10/20% from center is blurry. Now, add in that it's only shooting 30fps, the bad color science etc.. and you have a mess. AND THIS is all BEFORE you get to youtube.

I've had the X4 since today. I would like to do this fly through effect. But when I connected the X4 to the app, I can't find the paper airplane icon anywhere. Does the effect no longer exist?

Just wanted to say your videos are fantastic! I did sign up for your $100 online training of the Insta 360 Camera. Your course is also very helpful. I'm only 25% through your course. Lots more to learn.
I do have a question for you. I want to make a 4K video that is not 360 degrees using my Gopro. The during the course of my video I want to add a 360 video and some still shots, all in the same video I want to produce. Is this possible?

Thanks for buying the course! glad you find is useful. You can combine reframed 360 video and videos from your GoPro, but not interactive 360 video.

Thank you for the video. But biggest issue with the X4, is the very poor low light performance and the fact the insta360 did not implement pure video mode into the X4. They should have done the same pure video low light quality as the ace pro. Now during evening, indoors etc the X4 is still not great in low light and only a very little improvement over the X3.
