  • Flexibility and durability at the heart of M+ Museum lighting design
The M+ Museum of Visual Culture in Hong Kong is one of the world's largest museums of modern and contemporary visual culture. The lighting for the museum was designed by Adam Meredith of MEGS Lighting, with a focus on flexibility and durability to meet the needs of the museum's 33 evolving gallery spaces.
ERCO luminaires were chosen for their size, weight, versatility, and high quality. Casambi control was used in the Anthony Gormley Asian Field installation, where the luminaires are inaccessible once the artwork is installed. Adam Meredith also used ERCO track lighting to light the museum's vintage neon signs, considering the heritage value of the signs and the need for a durable system that would last 10-20 years.
