Hyundai/Kia and Genesis has been on a massive roll in recent years in regards to design. Definitely putting Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus and Nissan/Infiniti on its heels.

@@HansenSC That has to translate into sales or market share before others really take notice. Particularly the Germans who own the market. Their sales are getting better, but they aren't even remotely comparable in sales to the sales leaders yet.

It takes a long time to win the heart of luxury buyers and even longer to get them to open up their wallet since prestige, history, etc is such a big thing for them (rich people care about their appearances more than the regular folks). Genesis is doing a good job and they just need to continue doing a good job and win over buyers little by little. Again, it won't happen over night. It's a marathon.

My goodness, i was just talking about upgrading from my G70 to maybe the GV70. I love the G70 and it is so much fun. But even when i traded in my Hyundai Genesis sedan, it took me almost 2 years to pull the trigger because i didn't want to get rid of the size. I do love the G80, but just couldn't find the specifics that i wanted and boom there was this beautiful G70 in the perfect color and the 3.3. So going SUV was never my first choice. But this here is insanely beautiful. And never thought i would go Orange but if i can do the price that this would be, im in and that would have to be the color i get
Genesis killing it again in design. Might consider trading in my 2021 GV80 for this beauty especially if that lava orange color is an option. Gorgeous!

Infiniti is pretty much dead at this point. Genesis is outselling them and they're doing it from less than luxury Hyundai dealerships in most markets in the US. Infiniti really should be cancelled at this point, they don't offer anything worth mentioning.
Are you a brand fanboy and not a car enthusiast? You don't have to be a guy of any brand. Be a guy of cars you like, that way you don't have to end up seeing a car you like and then shake your head saying "Looks great but I can't buy this because I'm not a ____ (company) guy...."
The transmissions other than than the DCTs are fine and their engines other than the Theta II And some of the NU engines are are decent if you do the maintenance
The twin turbo is extremely reliable what do you mean how many recalls has that engine had? I have a 2017 G90 no problems my cousins stinger same engine no problems. The Audi A7 I had before my G90 the supercharged V6 nothing but problems and oil burning. I also got and still get all of my vehicles oil changed at 3000 miles.
I would imagine it'll come standard with the seats in the regular GV80 with the quilted leather. Also, a pano roof should hopefully be there, though I'd like to see the carbon fiber roof as an option with a blacked out carbon package like this one.
It's fun now to go back to older reviews of Genesis as the *Hyundai Genesis* and listen to the mostly negative/lackluster reviews(and comments) about the brand succeeding. Now, all reviews are *MUCH* more positive and inquisitive. Fun.
My opinion?? . . . I would buy that exact model/trim, NOW!! RIGHT NOW! I love it! The color, the Carbon Fiber accents, the interior . . . I'm ALL IN.*(I hope the stereo system sounds as good as this vehicle looks!) THIS is the ONLY "ICE" car I would buy in 2024/'25. How do I order this bitch?🤔

This car's design is perfect, Genesis needs to only remove the two extra lights on the side, also of course the bucket seats. Other than they'll sell like hotcakes, it looks aggressive. The wheel and tire package is perfect, no stupid body molding plastic around the wheel wells, again perfect! Take my money Genesis!! Just remove the extra lights on the side it's way too much, since the front and rear lights carry over to the sides. Well done!!!

@@MercOne I left Infiniti with the 2013 G37S 6MT as my last car with them. Infiniti is lazy and has 0 motivation to excel like they once used to.
Design is definitely Hyundai and Genesis' strong suit. Now they need to really start putting reliable engines and transmissions in their vehicles.
