For all of those who are wondering about the bearded dragon, he is okay! He was taken by another rescue that are better equipped at taking care of reptiles!🦎
I’ve been a Paramedic for over 15 years in a very rough part of the country. I’ve seen and heard just about everything. For some reason when they got to the dogs in the crates I just broke down. I DO NOT understand how people can mistreat animals. They are completely dependent on humans for everything yet some people treat them this way. Thank you HPHS for rescuing these poor babies. I hope they all find wonderful loving homes. ❤
I'm not a paramedic, but just through my experiences with purchasing animals from auctions, private sellers (so therefore visiting their homes) as well as going to pick up a free animal (mostly dogs, but that also included a goat & a ferret) because the owner couldn't care for it anymore, or couldn't take it with them, I have seen some very drastic situations as well. And probably not as dire as you may have seen, but boy!, I agree with you when you express your feelings about how some people treat these loving, dependant creatures the way they do. My heart was breaking as well! And thank you very much for your service as a Paramedic! (edited for spelling)
Great episode - quality is so good! The seizure case was so sad 😢 It’s just great that something happened and authorities got involved so the animals finally ended up with you. Kory is doing such an amazing job as rescue leader!
Good thing the Sheriff called HPHS. Hoarding is such a sad sickness. Usually the homes are disgusting and filthy, this house seems pretty much in order and the animals seem to be properly separated. Hoarders truly believe they love their animals. All of the animals seem well socialized, but definitely underfed. Hopefully this hoarder will get the help they need. 🙏
I can say that I agree with you but there are also parts of neutering, for example, not risking uterine inflammation and I have three bitches and I have two that I will not neuter and one that I will.
Why is law enforcement good at seizing these poor cats and dogs but they can’t see the cruelty to horses and if not help HPHS with the buy out rescue then not step in the way
You guys are the best 🤗 your my Heroes. I love watching the Vets at work it is so educational. So happy the animals from the seizure case are getting the medical they need and deserve ❤
It looked like this hoarder really tried to be good to the animals, just had way too many and was so overwhelmed that everything fell apart. Thank goodness you all were able to help.
Wow, the rescue of all those animals at the end. I'm so glad they're all safe now. I'm gonna take a guess and say the reason that bullet was smashed so much on one side was it was a ricochet and that poor dog happened to be in the way when it careened off whatever it hit first, before hitting the dog. I was in my back yard in Wisconsin once with two of my cats, on a farm near a small hunting area. I was taking clothes off a line, and I heard a WHIZZ sound right past my head. Thought it was a bee or something. Then there was another and another, and I realized they were coinciding with the gunshots I could hear in the distance. CRAP. They were ricochets! I ducked down and ran into my house, called the police, then out the front door to my car, and tore over to the access road to that little hunting area. Two IDIOTS were taking potshots at a target they'd leaned up against a big rock with .22 rifles. And the bullets had been bouncing off that rock straight at my back yard a quarter mile away. I yelled at the fools to stop shooting. That they'd almost hit me. Target practice was illegal there and they'd passed TWO signs that said that before they set up their target. The police arrived a minute later, asked if I wanted to press charges. I said yes. They issued them both tickets. Later I was informed they'd had their hunting licenses pulled for the season. Good thing they didn't kill anyone first. Anyway, that's why I think that bullet was a ricochet.
Had that happen once at my house, but I thought it was from a direct line of fire, but couldn't figure out which way it came as there were several houses on 35 acre plots of land. Some were heavily treed, the rest either a few trees or none. Never did figure out who it was or where it was coming from. Fortunately they didn't hit anything.
It was good to discover that the pony still has a chance of keeping the eye and I pray it heals enough to be useful going forward. A bit extra weight gain now the teeth are done will be good too. Thanks to both Drs for being there for these horses and donkeys but also for the times when emergency rescue turn up like the animals having to be ceased by the police. Kory you set the team up and and all went very well. Thanks again to the film crew and all the staff members holding the fort whilst Tawnee and Jason are away. ❤ God bless you all.

Absolutly. I go up and feed my horses, clean the stable early morning, go home and walk my dogs, then they get fed then it's my turn to eat. Same routine every afternoon too. I would go without food before any of my pets go hungry.Animals have no choice, they need me to live a happy and healthy life and I am responsible to give them that life. I will never understand how anyone could neglect or abuse an animal 😢

i bred Siamese cats and none of them were ever caged. I converted a bedroom where they would stay until they were old enough to roam the home without fear of them getting stuck or falling down any stairs. I would only allow a female to be bred twice and that was only after her being cleared by a vet ready to breed again and then she would be spayed! I did this because I knew they would make me money needed for household expenses. Just as if you have kids that were old enough to get jobs and help out with expenses to teach them the value of money and renting.
