      can u explain for me why the torque=+fs.R but not -fs.R because it is opposite the chosen direction

      @@vuquangminh3033 because torque isnt in the x y plane, but theres only two directions, clockwise or counterclcockwise, since friction is clockwise it is positive

    the friction force doesn't act on the center of mass, still why do we substract that while calculating net force on center of mass?

    what does slipping actually means in physics?

      no/negligible friction; without friction there is no force exerting a torque on the object and therefore it does not rotate. think of how cars slip on ice because there is not enough friction for the tires to grip the ground and rotate

    Could you explain to me why the torque is not negative? It is creating a clockwise rotation...

      its just direction, you can set what direction you want to be pos/neg

      becasuse it acts in the direction of movement. The disc moves plan-parallel to the right, so the roll is a positive movement
