You need to update your tab to HyperOS. It can convert your writing to text when you're using your MiPen even on Chats. I think it is Gboard. It is automatically included in your system when updated to HyperOS. But if your system in on global version, there are tutorials on how to activate gboard on global version OS.

Hellooo.. I can guarantee you that Xiaomi Pad 6 is good for note taking and gaming. And yes, it supports OTG but good notes app is not available. However, you can download kilonotes and other note taking apps. There's also a workstation feature that will make your working and studying easier.

The same reason why I didn't get an Ipad. Also Ipad is pricey for me. I'm just a broke college student haha. I've been eyeing the Xiaomi Pad 6 since last year, and I'm so happy I got it this year. It's so worth it, especially for a student like me. And it's very affordable.

Please go for the PAD 6S pro version. It has bigger screen and better performance than the normal pad 6 for studying, watching and gaming
