Hey friends! Please enjoy Marcus and I's new trip down Disney nostalgia with Shake It Up! Due to a technical issue, you might notice that Marcus's audio doesn't sound as good as usual. I spent painstaking hours trying to correct it in editing, but it was hard to make it 100% right. Really sorry about that. Just know that pre-editing, it sounded a lot worse lol

You know what I don't understand? *_Why_* they portray CeCe as a dummy. Being dyslexic actually *_doesn't_* make you stupid, so no way they used that disability to make her the unintelligent character she seems to be. Besides, I can't tell if she's doing badly in school because of her dyslexia or pure laziness. It's so confusing.
Character wise the likely conclusion is because she’s lazy cause that’s like her type being the slacker with Zendaya being the book smart one
I mean it doesn't matter becuase it should not take away from her character. Not everyone is a genius lol
@@O_Ciel_Phant0mhive well it does matter. The concept of dyslexic cece being dumb in the show in general could make the wrong impression. As a guy with a learning disability that delays his general understanding and processing, I don’t appreciate society’s concept “I don’t get it” = stupidity. That’s what they make cece (and Patrick star and Homer Simpson) like, hence offending me
Her Dyslexia wasn’t the reason for her stupidity. Dyslexic people are allowed to be dumb too, they never correlated the two.

The saddest thing about this show is the fact the subplot about ty and tinka's relationship died in the water. Never got to see how that ended up.
They explored that subplot again in a season 3 episode, but it was the future episode (where the main characters attend their 20 years later reunion).
What's funny is that the actors that were on the show really thought that they could dance and the people that hired them was just blowing smoke up the backside

To be fair, they’re amazing dancers. I know for a fact that we probably couldn’t do as good as they did. Plus, Even if you’re talking about the younger dancers the older ones were amazing

YES!!! So glad to see another video! Hilarious as always and loved the occasional face cam . Also don’t worry, the audio was barely noticeable. Also this show is the reason I wore headphones around my neck for no god damn reason.
I just realized there is a guy named Duce who sells stuff on this show, and there is a guy on Sam and Cat named Dice that sells stuff. Sam and Cat stole from shake it up!

Growing up I wasn't sure what good dancing was bc of Disney and thought I was odd for not thinking they were good😔 glad to know the "studio audience" was just overhyping everything

Had some other countries adapted Shake it Up, it would be more high school realistic and step it up choreography instead of cheesy TV movie dancing. Heck it would work well as a comedy drama.
