That's awesome BUT it is because of YOU my friend. I may have had a hand in it but if that were the case, everyone that watched would get jobs. YOU did the work, don't forget that and congrats!
@@TraversyMedia thanks man. I was stuck with java. And one day I find your channel through which i learned node, express, angular, react and other hot topics. Which helped me to get a job as a react developer. Thanks you changed my life. I will never forget this channel. I will help you by promoting this channel and you.

@@abhijithchandran5744 Congratulations ! How's your job going and what's the package as a fresher? I've already learned php,js,node, express, mongodb, & build some minor projects..i also want to be a react developer or fullstack developer in india.
Not going to lie, I may cry if you ever stopped uploading. I have learned so much from you! I have barely discovered your channel but in these past 3 days, I have learned so much and even recommended you to friends. Keep up this phenomenal work!
I switched when I first saw the warning on mlab. Good lord, this thing is SLOW! MLAB was fantastic, but this Atlas is just horrible (in the free tier, at least). And it's not only the creation of the cluster, it's every operation. Have a simple CRUD app that reads a DB with more than 500 items? You gonna have to wait. =/
when i go to "connect" and then "connect your application" it doesnt show me the screen you show, mine doesnt have 'standard connection string', it only says "1. choose your driver version" with node option selected, and then it says "2 Add your connection string into your application code" with the options 'Connection String Only' and 'Full Driver Example' options. Neither 'connection string only' or 'full driver example' give me a code that looks like your standard connection string.
$25 a month for 5gb of storage? This might be a stupid question, but couldn't you just install mongo on a cheap computer at home, and use that for your database instead? I know there might be issues with lag in interrogating the data, but is there any reasons you can't do it? Thanks for the vid Brad, I've done 3 of your courses on Udemy, they're the best around.
As always great video Brad I have a question - What can I do, if there isn't my coutry listed on the AWS region list while creating new cluster? Thanks you all for a responce in advance.
Thanks Brad, Traversy media is the first I will go to whatever about web dev. Just one suggestion: would you consider a crash course on MongoDB Realm? I hit a wall when planning an API and Reddit bro suggest me to look at Realm, which seems can solve my pintch points on auth and data filtering(GraphQL)
great video! this was super helpful. i was wondering though if you need to keep the mongoURI and secretOrKey private? I have my app on github and am not sure if i should switch it to private
hey Brad I'm big fan of your RUclips channel but I would like to ask you a question for a consideration of your videos do you think you can make an assembly tutorial to explain the basics of it I kind of wish to join that but I would like to get it from your from your teaching thank you great stuff by the way I really like the the mongodb video you just made today
When a client is making a request through your app (such as a nodejs app) is there any advantage in using mLab or Atlas since your machine itself must take the client's request and pass it to the database on Atlas? In other words (aside from scaling the database) is there any advantage in using two servers when the database could sit on the same server as, for example a nodejs application? Which server is taking the bulk of the load when using Atlas? The nodejs server or the Atlas server?
Awesome tuts brad. can you make a tutorial for unsecured connection coz i cannot post a request in mongoDB atlas if the connection is not secured. Always return socket hang up. Thanks!
I'm currently in the interview stage for an Atlas Customer Success Specialist role - coming from Dropbox this is quite different, any more tips or vids let me know !
Hey Traversy! Congrats fot your channel, it is really awesome. Could you explain how to import csv files to Atlas? I have tried everything! Thank you in advance.
Hey Brad! I need your help! I am confused between opting for Django or Node.js (Express) I a well versed in both Python and Javascript but it is difficult to keep up with two frameworks. I want to choose the option with more power and options. Please help me out!

And we are getting something like this for NODE.JS
mongodb+srv://username:@clustername-cytwo.mongodb.net/test?retryWrites=true
Is that enough?
did you solve? @Subvicem @Dominik Sosnowski
?
Ok I solved, just change to node 2.2 or later, instead of node3. Get that url instead
