When I first got this heat press I tested everything with sublimation such as shirts, luggage tags, key chains and photo slates. The photo slate caused a permanent dent in the heat pad causing it to use less pressure. I now add an extra heat press pad. I also sublimate on a higher temp for 40-60 seconds. Honestly the higher the polyester count, the longer I press, even so I also get the faded/faint spots. Thx for sharing this video.
Oh my goodness!!! I love elephants, too! I have lots of elephants around the house. Paintings, statuettes, crystal, brass… I love them. You have back problems. I really hope your new heat press is working out for you and saving your back. Donna Coastal Georgia ♥️🌹♥️🌹♥️
Your video was fantastic. First time I've seen you but I liked your technic. Please get plenty of rest and my prayers are with you for a complete healing and no side affects. I love Cricut products but I will not just give them my money to have their heat press - that is just outrageous. I'm real frugal. I did order the HTVRONT heat press after watching several reviews and you did very good. The manufacturing has either slowed down or there have been many many many...orders especially on EBAY, because my order is taking over 2 months for delivery I ordered 1 Oct and it will arrive 15 Dec 22. That is I long time to have my money. LOL Thank you again for such an honest unboxing and experimenting.
Thank you so much for commenting and I'm honored for the compliment! I am feeling better -- not 100% but better. Wow it's taking that long to ship?! I hope you like it once you get it. I do love mine. And the price makes it even more appealing.
so with sublimation with this htv you need to press again. so if it says 60 secs do 90 -120$ just to get more color on the product. i got this press just for dtf if i start sublimes i will buy elsewhere just worried on the gas pain to i am holding on that
Thank you. So I ended up redoing this sublimation mousepad and it ended up being my printer. The black ink head was clogged. I have another video on my channel where I showed the comparison. I've never tried DTF 🤔 another rabbit hole for me to jump down 😂 Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️
"Creating" in the SC as well! I am leaning toward getting this as well. Mainly the price point is my reason. I am watching all videos to help with the dos and don'ts.
Hi! I will try that. I also just found out my black ink head was clogged so I had to clean my printer so that may have been the issue. I will try it again and compare. I won't be able to do it until Friday but I will surely let you know. Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️
this heatpress has aload of issues tbh, does not always stick down vinyl, not enough pressure for some things which is why she got the pale sections on the mousemat, you are much better just getting a normal heatpress that has the auto-open function that way you get all the pressure you need and heat and TIME. these hyvront machines are limited to 99 seconds. which is ok for some things but if you want to sub ceramics or glass you need alot longer timer and once the top lifts from the first press even if you tape the sub paper down it changes shape still and if you press a 2nd time more likely to get ghosting.
This is a great review. I'm new to this type of thing and I'm trying to apply "Siser EasyWeed Adhesive" as a first step to later adhering foil to a jean jacket and on the first try it didn't stick. I used the manufacturer's specs, 300 degrees for 5 seconds, but it didn't work. Can you tell me if I would have to change some of the settings? Temperature, time or pressure? I don't know if the pressure can be regulated in this type of heat press
I'd go up on the temp. The manufacturer will always be easy with their specs to avoid damage or being blamed. In other words they go easy...I'd try at least 30 seconds. You can also put this in your search engine and find other RUclips videos for help
Thank you for your comment and watching the video. I've never worked with that product but if it didn't tack down at 5 sec. I would just go up to 10 sec to see if that tacks it down. A lot is trial and error and once you find out what works for a specific product (sublimation, htv, etc) I would also recommend keeping a notebook to write down what you did. That will save so much troubleshooting in the future.
I received mine today I pressed a mouse pad and the middle part seems not to get enough presure. I only tried ones piece so I'm not gonna judge it now until I try it a bit more. Bit not having presure to adjust its a bummer.
That's true I wish we could adjust the pressure. I now see how that is needed. I redid the mousepad in another video and it came out much better. It was a printer issue.
I know you can use it with HTV. I’m not sure about DTF or screen print transfers. I haven’t even gone down that rabbit hole yet. Lol maybe someone else can chime in and answer for you.
I have everything Cricut. I'm a cricut fan, however $1,000 is way too expensive for heatpress. I'm getting this heatpress unless cricut lower their price. This is Cricut first auto heatpress. Why would they make it so expensive?
Yep ridiculous.. And the easy press is just unbearable; ours stop working, seems like it's not evenly heating kept getting an error. We will tried with cricut one last time to get a replacement as we had it for less than 6 months before it started acting a fool.
I feel like they made it so expensive because they can. They know they have loyal followers that will buy their products regardless of price and reviews.
That is horrible! I was “tempted” to get it when I saw the price dropped to $599 but that was still too much for me. So far so good with this HTVront press. I’m still loving it, so I’m sure you will love it too.
It's not necessary to press the back but I just like to do it. I was so used to the cricut easy press and that's the way I always did it. The auto press has enough pressure for the 1 press though.
Thank you for your content, i hope you feel better that Covid whip my but too. Im going to need help creating image can you help me i will appreciated, because I want to start doing t-shirts 😊

Thank you for sharing. This is the press I've been considering purchasing.
Great pictures vibrant colors , first time seeing your videos love how easy you explained
Great video! I enjoyed watching you work. The shirts came out really nice and so did the mouse pad.
Thanks Lo ❤️
I recently ordered this machine, excited about it! Great video.
Nice video, I enjoyed listening and watching the demo. I feel like I could operate that press after watching your video.
😂😂 you can!
I see this heat press a lot now. I am mad I saw it after I got the one I have. I can't wait to see how it works

Hi about the print of the bee how did you do that? What’s needed? I’m super new with crafting. Thank you. I enjoyed your teaching.
Hi! That is a sublimation print. I have a special printer with ink just for sublimation. It's pretty easy to do. Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you for the unboxing! Getting one for Christmas!
I hope you're having fun with it!

Hi neighbor! ❤ The price was definitely what sold me. It was even cheaper for Black Friday, I hate I didn’t get that price!
I got one I have not used it yet... Can't wait to use it, I think you should use a pillow on the mouse pad, but it is still nice
It ended up being my printer. My ink heads were clogged. I pressed it again yesterday and it came out 100% better.
Yes. I think I have decided to get one. I will wait until my craft room is complete first. But I think I am sold
Definitely a cute color
Do you think more time would have made the mousepad come out better? I’m on the fence about this heat press. Thanks!

@@latoyamatson6197 Thank you!
hey new to your channel love the look of that heat press im gonna have to get me one of those , thanx for this video
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Great video. You explain things well
Thank you ❤️
Great vid. Is it annoying that the max you can set the autopress for is 99 seconds?
I agree
I received mine today I pressed a mouse pad and the middle part seems not to get enough presure. I only tried ones piece so I'm not gonna judge it now until I try it a bit more. Bit not having presure to adjust its a bummer.

I was gonna ask if you got the 3 year warranty and I see you added it in the comments. Thanks.
I was thinking about also getting the same htv ront , I think I will like that it is automatic go down, thanks for the videos stay safe
You're welcome. Thank you for watching ❤️
You can turn the automatic off then you push the up/down manually with the button.
@inspiredbyyvette is this press for sublimation only or can you use this with HTV and screen print transfers, DTF transfers??
I know you can use it with HTV. I’m not sure about DTF or screen print transfers. I haven’t even gone down that rabbit hole yet. Lol maybe someone else can chime in and answer for you.

Very good video
Great video!!!!
I just ordered this press. My $900 Cricut press died after 18 months, so you do not want it!!!!

NICE!
Has anyone heat press a jacket or something a little bulky, but not too thick?
I've seen someone press a Hoodie and it was fine.
That cricket sound! 😅😅😅
😂
why did you press the tshirt at the back, is it because 1 press does not stick vinyl right as ive seen that with other youtubers
It's not necessary to press the back but I just like to do it. I was so used to the cricut easy press and that's the way I always did it. The auto press has enough pressure for the 1 press though.
Where do you purchase tshirts whole sale
I don't buy mine at wholesale prices because I don't sell them. I usually find them on sale at Micheals, Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree.
