David performed this song written and composed by Kurt Bestor, who wrote it out of frustration over the horrendous civil war and ethnic cleansing taking place in the former country of Yugoslavia.
The song has been used over the years in many similar circumstances, and for his Christmas shows this year, Kurt shares this song as we currently experience war and conflict in many parts of the world including Ukraine and Gaza. "These philanthropic uses of my song are the most meaningful to me because it was out of a spirit of desperation and frustration that the song was born."
