- It may not be Spooktober, but I was so excited to show you all this fangame. Saw and heard that it's very good, think this will be my favourite one yet.
A Spin-off made by Disparu-Gaming called "Sincere Deceit" which you can download here: disparu-gaming.itch.io/sincer... or here: gamejolt.com/games/sincere_de...
Considered possibly a spiritual successor to the original OFF, Sincere Deceit, formerly known under the name Find Me, plays after The Batter pulls the end switch. This gets intercepted by something or someone as the world is still intact and looks like it was un-purified, but slowly degraded into a state worse than before. We are woken up by an entity telling us to retrieve some objects which will help rid the world of impurity, and because our mission remains the same, that is what I think I will do, collecting those objects for the voice in blue.

Let's buckle up, folks, this one is gonna be a _loooong_ one. And not necessarily for the right reasons.
Oh and a quick note, you might want to *really* learn those element affinities. I couldn't remember them correctly even by the end of the game and, even with the add-ons, I had an unpleasant time.
Also I'll finally learn what this SMILE brings to this wretched world. :)
You are right about those elemental affinities, I should try to remember which ones are weak and strong against which.
Finally another playthrough of this game!
Ah, memories... this'll be pretty long, especially if you plan to be thorough with the secrets, so I hope you enjoy the journey!
Oh wow, I didn't expect for one of the developers to actually watch and comment on one of my video. It really is an honor, and yes, I will show all of the secrets I manage to find throughout my journey.
Also, a couple of things:
- There's a pretty egregious softlock in the blue route around the endgame. I wasn't the one to code the area it happens, so even with my attempts to fix it, I've received reports that the softlock is still there. I apologise for this...
- There's a fair bit of copyrighted music that may get your videos flagged. In hindsight there should have been an option to change this in-game, but since there isn't I can only apologise for the problems this may cause...
@@FourEyesYT I will keep those in mind. There was something I was curious about. When I looked through the game in RPG Maker 2003 to make my outro, in the items section, there was something called a Grand Elemental. The description states that it's made up of all the elements. I was wondering, is there an actual way to get it that I missed, or are there future plans for new conent?
@@OFF_Fangames_Collection It's been a while, so I could be wrong, but I don't believe that item was used in the final version? It at least wouldn't fit the current uses for the Grand/Supreme items found in-game.
As for future plans, I've always had a want for another ending... but that would take a while, if it ever does happen, as I'm currently aiding other people with their games and fangames. We'll see!
@@FourEyesYT Alright, thanks for the response!
And i thought Clueless was the most disturbing Fangame i've seen. Well looks like this might be the taking the cake for me this time.
Also it seems like the ''Fake Crash'' decided to crash your game either way.
What exactly does the SMILE value change? I did a full playthrough with it and didn’t notice a difference
The SMILE value in Sincere Deceit is a lot like the fun value in Undertale. It's set to a random amount between 1 and 66 at the start of each playthrough, and depending on how much you got, some things may change or happen, most will at value 66, which inputting your name as SMILE will does. To name an example, the Judge at the rooftop of the postal building normally disappears as soon as you enter his floor, but if your SMILE value is at 13 or 66, he will stay and teleport you to "Player Not Found" upon interaction.
