It's the safer internet, with many wholesome sites one could access. I see no reason to avoid the whole thing, perhaps avoiding unwholesome sites, but that's all.

@@LionKingProLKP It's more private, anonymous, secure, censorship resistant, therefore safer. Wholesome services do exist, from Facebook and Twitter to IRC servers and games. Half of onion sites are legal. Darkweb is websites hosted in darknets; overlay networks on the internet that require specific software to access Deepweb is web sites or pages not indexed by search engines. I do know what I'm talking about. I use Tor regularly, and sometimes I2P. More info can be found in my about page, if you feel like reading.
