The last time I remember the author bringing up the show is when she revealed who would be playing Simon and that was in November of last year. @@zach___blake sorry for replying so late but I'd also say go for it the book and author are amazing with quite a big fanbase so you'll definitely have an audience and theres people like me who would love a film that may also give the book and author more recognition. With the whole low budget scenario I dont think it matters, I've watch plenty of low budget films and series that have turned out to be very popular were I live. Hope this helps💗
