Fabulous tips there for pre-fitting of the light and routing of the wires, perfect solution, also love the idea of using the chocolate block for the resistor, gives you the opportunity to play around with different values till you're happy with the final effect, top notch and thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing your ideas. You have made an excellent job of the assembly and given inspiration for my layout. The lighting and the adaption used of the shrouding of the LED can be transferred to other applications.
It looks great with the light. Well, it looks just fine with out it, but the light really makes it look stunning. Good thinking, putting the wires in before. On many card kits I have neglected to do that and have to cut them up later. Good video. Rob
Mmmm, I really like that, it has really come out well. I have looked at this kit several times but that is as far as I got - I never got round to actually buying one, with my country station still to treat then I might give this one a go. Thanks fro sharing and an excellent video. ...........Graham
Is the clock facing the right way? It would give the time to passengers on the facing platform rather than along the platform where the canopy is located.
I've just made the N scale version of the same kit www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=25989 I agree it's a lovely little kit and it shows the progress thats been made over the years with the laser cut card. Nice idea with the light, it looks really good.
Great job with the kit. The lighting effect is really good. I decided to print my platform canopy kit off the Internet to save money. It looks ok, but not quite as nice as the canopy you've made. Btw I also do railway vids. If you could, I would really appreciate it if you checked out my channel and subscribe if you like. Thanks!

Great Video
Fantastic video. Many thanks. Looks like a lovely kit. What colour of led did you go for? Orange or warm white? :-)

Indeed you are right, but I didn't want to remove the lovely ornate detail on the other sides so went with that.
