If you want to test if the outer sensor works, put the sensor in your hand, squeeze it tight, like cover it in your palm. The excess heat from your hand will change the temperature. Make sure the room temperature is about 20-25 degrees celsius and the difference between in and out will be much more obvious. I tested it like this and the out temperature went to 35C. It's good to check to see if everything works.

We are using same model in our AC room. Temperature keeps changes but humidity not changing.
If it shows different humidity outside of room then it works all right
I was outdoor with the tempreture meter LCD and the probe. How come the inside temperature was still higher if the inside temp sensor was also outdoor with the probe? Shoudn't it be the same?
The inside temperature might be getting warm by the plastic body so it is giving over temperature than outdoor sensor

Why to stick sensor cable end part on glass? Isn't glass is kind of always colder than the room? So will it not give false room temperature?
the extended probe / wire sensor is to be inserted in the silicon suction cup which was shown in the unboxing. that suction cup is can be placed on a shiny surface like glass, so that the sensor does not touch any surface.

if you need only temperature than put only wire and if you want both temperature and humidity than place it inside
'Very good' - but you have NO IDEA of the real temperature, just compare numbers on the device... how can you test accuracy?
In most cases this Hygrometer matches with most of other temperature meter so even if there is any difference it should be 0.5 degree
How should one change the AM/PM setting?
When setting time keep pressing the mode button when cross 12 it will change am to pm this video might help

Yes sometimes hot area have high humidity, you can check placing in side the fridge

This htc2 is flop. I ordered 2 units and both show himidity over 90 and on my proper black hygrometer ts only 69% room himidity. I dont suggest biying this

@@Umairworkshop insert the sensor in incubator wait for few hours after i checked . I have two meters one HTC-2 and another one is mini hygrometer with sensor probe .
Both are showed different value for example thermostat temperature 37.5
Same time HTC 2 showed-38.3- 58%
And mini hygrometer showed -37.7- 45%
Its confused me
@@jayamfarm this htc2 have the sensor inside the body which might show some difference about 5 degrees on the other hand the mini hygrometer with external sensor may show accurate
