Mac 3516 chainsaw pouring gas out of the bottom: take apart / fix

I had cleaned the carb, and the chainsaw was cutting great, then it stopped. I filled the gas and it seemed to be pouring out the bottom rapidly. on first inspection, the fuel lines (recently replaced from above) looked ok. So I disassembled the saw and inspected the fuel tank for a crack but it was fine. I reassembled the unit with new fuel lines (installed better from below) and life is good. not as exciting as i anticipated.

So I see you don't reply but just in case. I have this exact issue. All the fuel leaks out when it sits in the garage. So where was your leak if it wasn't the tank?
