I remember this vividly cause I hated it. I did not like mustard at all as a child, and while the green tasted mostly like ketchup, it smelled like mustard, that was the last time we bought it

I was born in 1990 and experienced this product with my own eyes at school. Luckily the color looked disgusting so I never tried it. They should add a dark brown color LOL!

So Mayo Ketchup is a very HISPANIC thing, it wasn't an "experiment" Heinz invented. Looks like it was invented in Argentina, but I see this combo in every hispanic house hold. Mexican, Puerto Rico, Salvadoran, ect. Which is why this line is still on the market.
I thought it was a mormon thing. It's even at alot of McDonald's in Utah

I am a Heinz-only shopper when it comes to choosing ketchup, but I was never lured by E-Z Squirt colored ones. I associate ketchup with red, mustard with yellow or golden-brown, and Pepto-colored pink sauces with dessert toppings and all things sweet. Color association and appeal are huge factors in food packaging and food marketing, and those special edition vivid colors can be a big financial risk. Kids often love them, but they're also fickle and have their eyes on the next big food trend.

Blue food colouring when u add it the ketchup looked kinda dark blue to purple but it tastes the same :/

So I remember this being a thing back in the late 90s/early 00s, and yeah, even though I was a kid, I refused to try it because I'm sorry, ketchup is not supposed to look that way.
incorrect it predated shrek it was in 90s' round christmas originally for the grinch tv special shrek 1s were of the latter...brought the green n purp back for sales n by kids request as well as parents request of those working for heinz even sum heinz office working parents wanted it back n so they did...
loved the different flavor...didnt change my behavior at all n in fact regular ketchup is just as bad...
