I started my career in TVS Hosur. Proud to be a part of TVS.
Some other points to be mentioned
1, TVS set standard for Employee welfare like Food (Cultivating vegetables locally through organic method), Snacks, Diwali Gifts and Yearly Bonus.
2, I noticed even Mr Venu srinivasan (MD of TVS) wash his plates in Canteen.
3, Implemented Japanese techniques like JIT, Kaizen, TC Circle and TQM in the plants.
4, During 2009 great recession Mr Venu srinivasan said Even a single employee won't layoff (He was successfull at the end)
When I said I got a job in TVS to my friends and Relatives -Wow that was an amazing moment. Thanks TVS :) for everything

we still have our TVS champ bought in 1992. it carries pretty much every thing for our thottam(Farm) today. Fertilizer bags, gas cylinders, feed for cattle, milk can...pretty much a part of our family... The mean machine just refuses to stop working. Driven it on dirt roads, water logged roads, tar roads, slush roads, gravel roads... It just works fine. 4 of us used to ride on it to the local movie theater. Father and mother on the seat, I used to squeeze myself between them, while my younger brother used to sit on the luggage floor. After the movie, we used to collect food parcels from koli nadar parotta kadai and put them inside the luggage petti on the right side, come back home, enjoy the food and have a good night sleep. The next day, I even used to boast about it at school. When I moved to the hostel, the same moped carried my trunk petti with bed rolled over on top of it both mounted on the front luggage area and a bucket hung on the left side hook. Unforgettable moments...
I generally do not comment on any videos but this video really tempted me to post a very fond memory of TVS 50. So this was 25 years ago and we owned A TVS 50. And my grandmother was suffering from cancer and my mother had to take her to Adyar for her chemo therapy. So every session, they both travelled in TVS50 from KKnagar TO Adyar, get her chemo and get back. But the funny and fascinating fact is, both my mom and my grand mom were overweight and weighed over 100. So this TVS50 took up a load of 200Kg and also managed to cross kodambakkam bridge. Everyone around would make fun but still this was incredible back in time. Also it made the lives of a middle class family easier. Cheers to your upcoming videos!!

There was a story on how he sold is first car. You could include that. This kind of success can only come with dedication, high vision, endurance, ignore failure etc.
I purchaed TVS NTorq when it was just released without hesitation ( usually newly released product will have some design issues) but I did not regret. The performance was excellent and now you can see many NTorq running in the roads. TVS makes sufficient time testing before releasing.
FYI, my previous bike was Royal enfield Himalayan and I had to sell it in a year due to the design issues I faced. Never ever buy from RE and waste your time and energy.
NTorq gives mileage of 42 consistantly but the pickup and smoothness is extraordinary. You will not think like riding a scooter. It will be like a bike.
The suspension is far better than RE Himalayan, yes, you read it right. I have measured it quantitatively.
Suspension is far most important parameter for health.
If you want more mileage, go with Jupiter, it has very good suspension and mileage.

My big family 1st bought TVS champ . My dad bought his 1st motor vehicle is Tvs50 back in 2000 and i practiced driving lessons using this vehicle only. I still modified it to new avatar and running it occasionally. Whenever i ride it or put it in parking still people asking is it new TV's xl whenever they saw. Thanks Bogan for bringing back my Golden memories. My desire and hope is my nephew want to ride this vehicle when he grew up.

I have driven TVS 50 but I have not owned it. My brand happened to be Bajaj motorcycle and now Honda Activa. But I have travelled in TVS bus service quite long back in Madurai district.
I learnt to drive in TVS 50 only, adhuvum andha padel ah mela thooki cluth ah pudichi start panna naa patta kashtam iruke chinna vayasula... Bogan remembered my childhood memories.... :)
