* Update on 13 May 2023 'Appreciation post' So as I mentioned in the video that I wasn't very sure about the zip & it did happen...on my recent ride to Nepal in Feb. the magnetic button which engages the zip broke after being stuck in a chair. During the ride I tried to zip up by somehow engaging the both sides of zip but it gave up. Somehow finished the ride and contacted Rynox after reaching Pune. They asked me to send the jacket even when it was out of warranty period of 6 months. I sent the jacket last Saturday requesting to send me back by this Sunday. I did follow up 2 times in between & apologized for very short notice. And Voila, I have my jacket on Saturday 13May. Wish to thank team Rynox a lot, I highly appreciate the support. Hoping the best for Rynox, and with this attitude I see no reason why they can't stand among the top riding gear companies of the world. Thanks Rynox 👍
@@Moto_helmet you must try both. For me Evo is very heavy and unsuitable as I sweat a lot. For me comfort is also a priority along with safety, I personally would rather ride slow and alert than wearing a heavy jacket that doesn't permit much air flow in the hot and humid climate as ours.
Hi, I'm finding the jacket very good, however even if it is mesh I feel hot in the summer but then it's the same for every jacket in the market. But I must also mention that I haven't used it since a few months now.
Can't exactly comment buddy, size should be same compared to RE. However I am wearing 1 size bigger i.e. 3XL because I've beer belly too 😉. Best is to try at showroom 👍
Great video. Found it helpful. I have shortlisted this one for my upcoming Srinagar Leh Manali Delhi Himalayan Bike road trip. I need some suggestions. The company is giving a riding jacket for the duration but I don't know of specifications yet. Should I buy my own or take my chances? Are the riding pants also must? Any help will be great. Enjoyed watching your video ❤
I'm glad you liked the video, Thanks! Buy this jacket if you are planning long rides ahead, it's a nice but. But please not I broke the circular magnetic button at the start of zip which actually is the zip engager. So I might have to get the zip changed as it is out of warranty. Otherwise it seems to be a good product so far. Also, you will need good winter liner(s) as it feels cold in this jacket. Riding pants or any other riding gear is a matter of choice, you want safety & have budget then go for as many & as better gear as possible otherwise a good thick jeans is OK if you are ready to compromise on your speed and take less risk. For me comfort on long rides is as important as safety so in summer I rides I may drop some speed and wear a jeans only. Cheers 👍
Thanks, yes a bit heavy with all the guard inserted but I usually remove the chest guards, exact weight needs to be checked. But it is definitely lighter than other Indian touring jackets.
They actually have this armour lying around in their stock and so they are feeding them to the people... In today's date knox, sastec, d3o have lovly options... God knows when these will be available to us
Hey buddy, I'm no sir. You can use any 2 litre hydration bladder I guess. The one I'm using was bought from decathlon long back. But now there are many available online too.
As I mentioned that I will be trying the jacket in winters of Northern India. It does feel cold in this jacket and you'll be dead without thermals, internal liners AND the rain liner on the outside.
U said safetec armours whereas it's cerros Zero G...... Which is correct
@@Moto_helmet both statements are correct, actually they have changed the armours. I just got to know this when I visited their showroom last week.

Hello sir, what size of shirt do you wear. (in this video)
Should I choose this or stealth Evo jackets

Sir How is the jacket performance now? Since its been a year

@@JSinghDreams Thanks for the information brother. Happy riding ☺️
@@JSinghDreams Did Rynox help you with the repair? How much did they charge?
Also, did anything come apart, in the jacket?
@@sanketjain9320 yes they helped me even when the jacket was out of warranty and they didn't charge anything.
Jitendra ji, may I know which one is better ventilated & lighter out of this Rynox & the Solace Furious?
Hello ji, haven't tried Furious but Rynox stealth pro is much more ventilated as Furious has convertible design but only chest portion is mesh.
Good review.
I've found the Rynox jackets to be heavy side which tires you on a long ride. What's the wait like of this one ??
Thanks, yes a bit heavy with all the guard inserted but I usually remove the chest guards, exact weight needs to be checked.

Grt job !!! best wishesh!!!
Thanks 🙏

Thanks. Mine is 3XL
Very well explained 😇

Hi Sir,
I am using the same jacket. Want your suggestion on Hydration bag?
Which one are you using?
Is the the best fit with jacket?

@@vk8965 can check out Raida as well for the hydration bag if you want to look at other options

Wow
Thanks 👍

Technically Yes, 1 for rain liner/other items other for hydration pack/bladder.
Good video
