@@TeknolojiTV Hi. The Laptop starts without any problems, but i can't enter the Bios without the Password. I tried the CMOS Battery removal technique, the password it's still there, did an Update to Bios, the password is still there. I have this 8470p from a second hand buy many years ago, and i didn't even bother looking at the Bios all this time, not needing anything changed there, but now i wanted to try an external graphic card on it, and it's impossible to make it work with the Laptop cause i need to do some adjusting in the Bios Settings for the Graphic Card to work. The Laptop not being purchased personally by me from HP, i don't think they will ever take in consideration my request. I already snooped around many sites, reading everything there was to read, and nothing can be done, except to just stop all this thing i was doing. :)
@@Wisteria_ what do you mean? if you want to reinstall windows, do get windows on usb drive, then boot to usb drive, clean HDD, then install new windows, it will be new OS on your laptop, clean and simple, this is no phone to need the factory settings restored.
@@Wisteria_ you don't need bios, you can easily change the HDD/SSD what you have or, you can take the Storage Device you want to reset and connect it to another PC/Laptop with an adapter. then after connecting the Storage Device to Machine, run CMD as Admin and run the following commands diskpart, list disk, select disk (here chose the Storage Device), now write clean and exit (if you have partitions on it then the commands are slightly different, search on youtube on how to delete partitions) that's all, the CMD will erase all there is on the Storage Device so you can keep it to store new data, install new windows or give it to someone. it's not that complex as you may think. the bios has nothing to do with erasing the stored data on a Storage Device, even if it is locked, the CMD deletes all the data and you can stay safe. but if you have someones Machine with the Storage Device locked and want to snoop around to see what's inside, you can forget about that. that's why security is called security, for a solid reason.

My hp 6930p is error Status: 0xc000025 and then BIOS needed the password. Hon can I boot from usb drive ?
