Watching all three parts on different days kinda feel like I was reading a book, I experience all emotions that I can think or know off, Excitement, anger, sadness, hope and joy. Beautiful interview . Youngsta as much as he reps Coloured community of CPT by default he also draw the spot light into Cape Township too. His music be so much of Cape Town influenced as the black man in Cape Town I can relate and it's because I know it's nearby I know the place I see or I am acquainted with the people through public spaces, work and other institutions. As the black community I think we should allow Coloured community to voice out the frustration and they should speak their knowledge of self whether it's rigged or not. With these comments there will be an opportunity to correct our history, we can differ by opinions but we cannot deny nature. In closing without any intend to offend anyone. Khoi san and bush man if we want to allow the colonist's term to exist those people who subscribes by underneath those ethnic group should know without a doubt they are black or africanus. There's different shades of black and this is the problem within the same tribe, so I cannot blame coloured community to seek segregation or distancing themselves of being black, for hundreds of years we've been conditions to hate black people and anything that resonate black.
Dope interview. So real. Slikour, you can't convince colourd people that they are black, they have been told otherwise, and do not want to associate themselves with black people even though the struggles are equal. Really enjoyed the interview, that youngsta CPT album was dope too.
This is the type of content I signed up for, the issues we hardly address S/o to silkour for this interview and S/O to the realest Maan in the game, , #Protect&SupportYOUNGSTACPT
Really enjoyed this. I'm in 100% agreement with Youngsta and his analysis of the state of SA when it comes to Black people and coloured people in SA. Here and there I wished I could help clarify what he meant or what he was trying to say. but the take away we should take from this, "The white man's biggest victory was turning black people and coloured people against each other"
Camera man give me that job if you gonna disregard and disrespect that shoot like that. I've also reached the glass ceiling in Cape Town as a camera operator.. no kap
Oh yeah, I`ve always had a problem with Die Antwoord.... Max Normal was outstanding social commentary but the latter was fucked up. Youngsta just articulated what I couldn't....
