    why so many haters? Can't you live 5 minutes without hand sanitizer? Germs die in high temperatures anyway, bamboo grows like crazy (even up to 3ft a day), let people live their lives. Watch carefully and maybe you learn something.

    dont complain guys.
    if you want to eat 100% clean. then cook for your own.
    even you eat in the most luxurious and expensive restaurant,you are still not sure if the food they served to you is safe. haha
    maybe you are enjoying eating their saliva. haha

    First to let you know all out there, this how a typical street biryani is made in India. I cook different variety of biryani's this is not similar to dum biryani, its rather localised version.
    1. Trust me when i say, it is not looking hygienic but this is how its made locally; trust it then you will not have any health issues if you are used to eating biryani's.
    2. yes she didnt wash the rice because she is using India Gate basmati rice, which is a famous brand which does extensive quality checks before packaging, to remove any unhealthy particles; may be thats the reason for not washing.
    3.If you are not an Indian you might not know, so please come have it once then your comments will be valid.
    4. To all offensive comments down, if u dont like it dont eat; but you dont get the right to comment on the local culture and there way of cooking.
    5. As an Indian i feel proud of this culture, because this is vanishing very quickly and until we accept this heritage we will loose it to burgers and pizza's. Nothing wrong with pizza but this cooking is very unique needs some appreciation before its lost.
    Have a nice day,
    Regards, Foody-Wasimakram

    this is exactly how we cook our food traditionally in Borneo. never knew India shared the same cooking method. lovely!

    • @123brownbaby
      @123brownbaby 8 лет назад

      +Pankaj Doharey maybe you're right. but we don't use spices like Indian spices. we mainly just add in some herbs and leafs to spice up our food. you can look up how we cook our chicken in bamboo called pansuh.

    • @123brownbaby
      @123brownbaby 8 лет назад

      +Pankaj Doharey our food are mainly simpler, I think it's because we don't have spices like that back then,and never knew how to use those spices. so we just use whatever herbal leaves that's available.

    • @123brownbaby
      @123brownbaby 8 лет назад

      +Pankaj Doharey it is very simple. my grandma normally uses ginger,lemongrass, another leaf we call 'daun buan' (I don't know English name for that lol!), a type of herbs (which also I don't know the name lol!) and also tapioca leaves. season it with some salt and seasoning. that's all! we also cook rice in bamboo,fish and other meat. recipe are just the same. lol!

I had my aunty make same dish for me once and the taste is so good. ...

    and for those who don't know what it is
    1.The rice was already washed and made ready to be used whilst it was packed itself
    2.while cooking Indian recepies the masala stuck on the hand will not washed until it's all the steps are completed.......This adds more flavour in each step
    3.moreover finally it's cooked with very high temperature no chance of bacteria
    4.all ingredients are very much natural in that

    May i request that people don't make fun of these people about hands and touching food etc etc.. Their existence and carbon footprint is lowest possible under the given circumstances. Most of the time in name of cleaner cooking practices all I see is increased use of plastic to touch food, water to clean and wash more use of wood,styrofoam or paper and aerosols/alchohol based cleaning liquids.. Its a slippery slope and at some point these people will do exactly that if we have a planet by then but for now just watch the video and don't give any moral and hygiene lectures. Just move on if you don't approve. Thank you.

      In India, the meats are cut and cooked on the same day (0-2 hrs in most places!), And they are used to marinating it up with hand.. of course to prep it quickly as possible and put that in fire Just like we saw it!

      Also gotta remember that a lot of spices and herbs used in indian cuisine are naturally anti-biotic and anti-viral. That though is irrelevant; since in the developed world food hygiene is taught not towards ensuring the patrons health (well, of course they don't want to harm their patrons), but on how to not get sued. We could all do with our environments being a little less sterile, a little less paranoid and a lot less totally and completely suitable for super anti-biotic resistant bacteria.

      I personally don't wash my rice. A lot of nutrients wasted. You need to get your Body Defense System stronger my friend. When the conquerors of America came, a lot of them die because of a poor immune system.

    • @velse9869
      @velse9869 8 лет назад +8

      The nutrients from the rice is in the grain itself, there is no other purpose for rice except for that it is a source of carbohydrate. I recommend thoroughly washing it in cold water, all the cloudiness is rice debris from the paddy. Also, it does change the taste of the rice..because washing the rice helps make it taste like rice and not rice w/debris
