The Sephora contour shade is stunning as a contour. Contour and bronzing are very different for placement on the face. However, there are no rules in makeup. So put products where you want. But for makeup theory, they have completely different placements.
Bahama Mama has never not looked like a healing bruise on me so honestly I'm really glad to hear someone else saying something about the weird undertone.
I actually love the lumi L’Oréal bronzer! I’m so fair that that was the first bronzer I really REALLY fell in love with 😍 found it while I was working at ulta in 2018/2019ish and I sold so many of those cause women like me who were super fair would tell me they couldn’t find a bronzer that worked. Still love it 💕
The L’Oreal Lumi bronzer is definitely still available. I actually have both of those shades. One is my winter shade and the other is my deep summer shade. Such a great contour/bronzer.
Can you make a cosmetic organization/storage video? I have a really hard time keeping all of my makeup organized and I'm curious how you store everything, especially when it comes to pallets as they have a huge size range.
Sure!! You can kind of see my organization as I go through each declutter and put them back in the drawers in my other videos. Right now I really just use $1 baskets from dollar tree inside the Ikea Alex drawers. I have a different solution for lipticks which I show in my lipstick declutters!
I love your nail polish!! It looks amazing with your skintone!! It’s so difficult to find a bronzer that isn’t too warm. Sorry I hope someone can answer. Does anyone know what shade Miranda wears in the Lorac foundation?
hi yes its perfect shade for contour , i use mine daily kevin Aucoin light ,! no i bronze separately ! but i am very pale so i use a fair bronzer from charlotte tilbury its taken years to find a perfect shade ,
Please remind me to come and watch your next declutter video ! I don’t get notifications from anyone even tho the bell is turned on for some reason. + you got a new subscriber!!
im wondering how different the ones you say you can contour with look. they all kinda look like bronzer except the sephora one,.. contour is def not warm at all , they are straight up grey.. i think even companies doent even know they arent selling consumers contours but bronzer
Lol they probably don't, except the pro brands! I think as a drugstore consumer I am left with a majority of "contour" shades that are the slightest bit warm.
Hi again, I have been wanting to give you some info ever since you mentioned and showed putting contour on the upper part of your cheek. As a pro MUA that is actually a bronzer technique not a contour technique to lift the face. Sorry to tell you but Becca and Revolution have a lot of mineral oil and or petroleum in them. You would be shocked how badly they cause bumps, texture and breakouts on the cheeks when people use them especially regularly. There is a huge difference between contour and bronzer. Bronzer should never be used to sculpt only, mimic a suntan on the locations that you would normally get a tan. Contour should be the only thing used to sculpt the face and yes with a more grey tone but for your skin the Sephora contour is the wrong shade. That is a perfect shade fo a fair to light complexion the pixie contour is your perfect contour shade. Professionals have numerous contour shades for all skin tones as well as bronzers. I strongly recommend not using a bronzer that has too much yellow or orange for your skin. You were 100% correct with your favorite bronzers that are much more neutral and not too dark. Also for your sensitive skin the heavy fragrance of the butter bronzer and other physicians formula products can and will cause breakouts and texture. Hope this helps a bit. You did a great job on this video. It is always a joy to watch your wonderful personality! Thanks so much!🤗💖
Yes-- big difference between contour and bronzer though brands use the term interchangeably for the mass audience for some reason. I guess they don't trust us to figure it out 😂
@@slashedbeauty lol lol lol you are absolutely right! I guess we consumers are just to dumb to know the difference according to the cosmetic companies. Lol lol very well said! Have a wonderful week! Ps your skin is looking fabulous, well done!🤗💖
I've really never heard brands or anyone in the beauty industry use bronzer and contour interchangeably . . . I guess it could be just me not noticing that? I actually can't think of one example of a bronzer being called a contour or vice versa by anyone besides you. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. It's obvious that you know the difference between contour and bronzer, where to place them, etc. You just using the two words interchangeably was throwing me and seems like other people off as well. Because everything you called a contour with the exception of the Sephora brand and Pixi one were actually bronzers. And that's why they're all marketed and sold as bronzers and not contours. It could just be confusing to someone watching your videos who is starting off or who doesn't know a lot about makeup. So maybe it's something you could work on, if you want of course. Because they definitely aren't interchangeable and they're definitely not used that way in the beauty industry. Just my opinion!
I get that and that’s why I took a moment to explain that. But even in stores for example you’ll see things marketed as sculpting or contour products/palettes with warrrrrmmm undertones which should be labeled bronzers.
I have the Wet n Wild Blushlighter Duo and I just use the “blush” side as a blush topper. It turns out really pretty!
My walmart still carries the Loreal lumi bronzers. It's a bronzer that has just gives me that naturally sun kissed look &just gives a glow to my skin.
Awesome, good to know!!!

Definitely!! I think I need a different tone for my skin though. The pixi one is cool but not so ashy

So satisfying
The Essence Contour Duo is FANTASTIC. It has a cool toned (not gray lol) contour shade as well as a brightening shade.
I’ll have to check it out!! Hopefully it’s still dark enough for me as well!
Just wanted to say that your nails are beautiful!! LOVE the polish ❤❤ Oh, and this was an awesome declutter ☺️☺️
Thank you so much!! Was in the mood for sparkle!
You could use some of the highlighters that are too dark as eyeshadow toppers
So true! I feel like I’ve kept highlight palettes with that idea though and then I never use them

I have 7 Light, I could probably go a shade darker right now-- my skin tone fluctuates through the year since I tan so easily!
I loved your video , it’s not boring like other videos I’ve watched ! I watched it all the way to the end with no skips !
Aw thank you so much, that's so kind!!
Is part 2 available?
Coming up next week 😎

Super random but your voice sounds so much like Selena Gomez it’s insane
Lol I've always gotten that I look like her but not too many people have said I sound like her!
The Sephora might not work for you cause you may be too warm or too tan for it
It’s probably best for very fair cool toned ppl
yes definitely!

Your voice is literally the same as Selena Gomez!! Kept seeing her face in my mind when you switched lol
haha thank you!
