    You become better just to listen him, and the practice of niguma yoga is just incredible , it can help anyone to feel better in his own body and mind, I feel blessed to spend a weekend in Paldenshangpa, and have this great experience, as a yoga teacher, it s a wonderful experience to live ❤

    Kalu Rinpoche is a blessing for future practitioners. Thank you for this public conversation.
    The cool thing about yoga is that if we stick with it, it eventually guides us to where we need to be, with or without our total awareness.

    This is a delight... I took refuge with Rinpoche's former nirmāńakāya in San Francisco in the early 1970's, and of course I could listen to Dr. Thurman all day...

    Thank you so much for posting this conversation. So great to know the younger generation, like my boys, will have someone like Kalu to be inspired by.

    EDIT: So much responsibility, it's hard for me to even comprehend.

    Hello beautiful people on the request of seeing bodhisatvas in the Hindu religion, I was thinking and I found something simular when I was in isckon to be a devote of the devote is the highest devotion you can do.
    In similar what wan can do for our fellow sentient being is love them in effect is the highest thing we can do for our selves and them.
    But I do see bodhchita creates a great motivation to enlighten and help beings. Unlike anything in Hinduism except for what seems a guru is. Possibly like maharaji or hanuman being great bodhisattva who naturally liberate beings.
    Thank you Robert Thurman and Kali rinpoche for the talk loved it!!

    Is this lama the one that explained a few years ago how he was sexually abused by his lama teacher when he was a boy?
    If yes (and I think it's him, I remember his video about it), he seems to have recovered well. Good to see.

    Being the son of previous Kalu Rinpoche's Chanzo, I have never believed that he is the real reincarnation. Yet he has worthy of reverence because he has wethered the period of storm and managed to emerge as monk and a meditator. Kyapsuche

  • @onehydrosphere

    Someone really ought to check the automatic subtitles. For" Niguma ngondro" it transcribed "ego man window" and for "Vajrayana yoga" it transcribed "vegetariana yoga".. and I have just started listening to this. I cannot stop laughing. I suppose that is good but being that Tibetan Buddhism may be new for some, it may add confusion. Ya think?

    Tashi delek Kalu Rinpochela, my prostrations for you🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️
    Hello Mr Robert Thurman,
    Please with respect, in the next podcast don't interrupt a Guru (Rinpochela) or your source,
    this is very disrespectful & this podcast is supposed to be pleasant to listen to, but it's the other way around... 😔😔😔
    You always interrupt Rinpochela when He tries to answer your questions! 😭😭😭
    You have to learn to be quiet and patiently listen to a Rinpochela's explanation!
    Silence is gold...Thank you for your concern🤑

    It would be nice if you had let the Rinpoche speak. May I suggest if you wish to be the primary speaker, do not invite a guest. The Rinpoche has much wisdom to offer You denied your audience that blessing.

    If we use “stereotypical“ gender constructs for the purpose of understanding the communication styles within this pseudo-dialogue, we can see that this is a conversation that is very much masculine and lacks balance. Instead of a calm dance of mindful allowing, attunement, deep listening, and space, we hear an action-based encounter of fast-paced interruptions, opinions, and agenda. This lack of balance causes the listener to feel disjointed, incongruent, and difficult to follow. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

    • @5piles
      @5piles 2 года назад

      "lack of balanceness" just like "awkwardness" dont exist externally, theyre literally a part of your mind that you are seeing.
      otherwise, no, youre wrong, there is no lack of balance, im right that this was a very stable genius discussion

    • @John8Overfiend
      @John8Overfiend 6 месяцев назад

      @@5pilesI disagree. The guest is not allowed to talk or finish his thoughts. There is definitely a lack of balance in the conversation…
