Does that happen to the engine even if you take really good care of it?
@ JPhx if you do take care of it it Shouldnt mess up this usually happens because of poor quality oil and gas for hemi 5.7 s
Specially anything hemi higher than 5.7 basically srt8 and up id reccomend putting nothing less than 89 octane(if you can get premium even better) most srt8s run off premium anyways but yeah put nothing less than 89 octane or 91 octane just for the 5.7 hemi!! Cant run srts of anything less than premium and also change your engine oil every 2,500 miles or so ive been using ROYAL PURPLE SYNTHETIC oil 5w20 7 qurtz and k&N oil filter amd i use 91 octane for bigger combustions it just makes the engine perform better instead of running a hemi on regular fuel which is not as clean as premium and putting cheap oil even if its synthetic hemi engines take a lot of abuse so putting premium fuel or atleast 89 oct and royal purple racing engine oil only makes sense if you have the cash also because its not cheap especially doing the oil change every 2 months or less depening if your racing alot and doing burnouts MAYBE thats one way this scatpacks engine messed up everything i just said is just a tip who ever had this scatback that khal just got didnt take care of it Just a tip for all of you who this might help and can avoid a similar engine problem by simply investing your cash into better higher quality oil and fuel just makes sense to do this if you abuse your hemi alot which is fine also im talking mostly about the 5.7 hemi engine to make it last longer take care yall
