Did your new tub come zinc coated or perhaps galvanized dipped to help prevent rust in the future? From what you're saying having to deal with oxidization once you got the tub from Omix Ada it sounds like it didn't. Did you do anything to the tub to help keep rust away besides the paint job?
I've read ALOT of horror stories with the reproduction tubs. I need a late CJ5. You said it all lined up decently. So all the body mounts lined up well? Just looking for feedback as I need to order a body as well. Thanks
Hand it down to your kids in 50 years. Sure , the way your generation votes it will be a doorstop. No gasoline, all petroleum banned, harm to the environment just from farting....good luck with that.

I went over and imperfections and coated with Por-15 before paint. Everything has held up nice
Did the fenders come from the Philippines also ?
