This book was actually the first time I heard Crowley's name, though after, a quick google search turned me away. There are Rosicrucian Manuscripts Liber 777 and Liber 888, which I can share and are available online. I was pointing someone to Liber 777, and they started talking stuff that I knew 100% wasn't in there. I followed their steps, and found this one. Never actually looked into it. Just technically steered people away simply because it wasn't the book I was talking about. Upon hearing you describe it, it matches a lot with one of my projects; "Tarot - New Theory" is the working title. Which is basically mapping out a ton of correspondences in astrology, tarot, and kabbalah, Abrahamic religions, and some others, to rededesign astrology, tarot, and the magician's tools; 13 signs and 7 tools.
93! Thank you for a beginner's guide to 777. Needless to say, there is a vast amount of information you couldn't go into, but this is a very good start for the novice. 93, 93/93.
VERY, nicely done... Thanks for putting this out here for folks... This book is just one of the books that has made me its caretaker in my life... I have a personal library that is in depth...broad, varied, numerous..... I am fortunate to have been found worthy in being selected to safeguard the knowledge that they hold...once coveted, now available to all...who are dedicated. Not easily deciphered, greatly valued... I just subscribed to your channel ....BECAUSE of what you've done for folks.... Its also the first one I have seen pop up...going to have to binge watch what you have done.. Thanks again. I spent the last two years living in a monastery with monks and am looking to expand my knowledge on thelema and chaos magick; your channel has been very helpful in this regard. Any advice on how to get connected with an experienced, older practioner so as to expedite the learning process while avoiding pitfalls?
I am glad you found my channel helpful. This channel has been a fun ongoing project. My biggest advice to you is to avoid the loud, angry, ego driven personality types online especially the ones trying to sell you something. In my experience the older, most experienced practitioners worth your time have next to no social media presence. They don't have the time to whip up drama for attention. They are quietly doing the work and have no need for online theatrics. And don't mistake loud complaining online as a sign of experience. It just means someone has time and a keyboard. I put together a post on my blog about intro book suggestions and other online resources. At the bottom is a short list of Thelemic organizations that you may find helpful. maeviuslynn.tumblr.com/post/733196889417302016/are-you-new-to-thelema
Serious question: Let's say that I would like to make a spell for money. All I need is to look up the correspondences of money and other wealth-related things, and then use these correspondences to formulate a ceremony or spell? How would someone go about formulating a ceremony, spell, etc.? What do you do? Also, what do you mean when you speak of "scale"? I have been interested in Magick for a long time but cannot practice it yet for several reasons. This is all quite interesting! Please let me know and thank you in advance
Love the channel! Stumbled across this rabbit hole after I started trusting my intuition. I started reading Liber ABA with no background but I am too incompetent to understand what he is saying (I am not that much of a reader). What would you recommend for a good entry point into Thelema? Thank you!
Thank you so much! The most accessible works by Crowley to start with are: * Magick in Theory and Practice by Aleister Crowley * Magick without Tears by Aleister Crowley * The Law is for All by Aleister Crowley Other author's works that are great reads to start with: * Living Thelema by David Shoemaker * The Weiser Concise Guide to Aleister Crowley by Richard Kaczynski * Perdurabo by Richard Kaczynski * Abrahadabra: Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thelemic Magic by Rodney Orpheus * Thelema: An Introduction to the Life, Work & Philosophy of Aleister Crowley by Colin D. Campbell
@@MaeviusLynn @MaeviusLynn Hello, I just started reading Magick In Theory and Practice (as you recommended). I followed the 28 principles well, but Chapter 0 is extremely confusing (Tetragrammaton, Qabalistic Diagrams, Yod, Samadhi, the list goes on). This book is apparently Part 3 of Liber ABA. Are you supposed to read the previous books first? He makes a lot of references to other books like Erdmann's "History of Philosophy" and Crowley's "Berashith". Does this make more sense the more you dive into it? TYSM.

Dear.Sr. Lynn Hi..!! I am Kyung-ho. Heritage is Korean. Please, Let me ask you one. I need to study liber 777 but unfortunately, liber 777 will translate and publish soon but not yet. Can you recommend any book like a commentary of 777?? I mean, any pdf file that introduces basic concepts or of something that I can understand 777??
93 Great video, im trying to get into using the correspondences and learning the tree of life. Is 777 good for this or is there something else i should be looking for?
93 That's wonderful Qabalah has sparked your interest. To learn more about the tree of life and Qabalah I recommend Chicken Qabalah by Lon Milo DuQuette.
Idk I've been a practitioner of very true dark left hand path ordain an actual wizard of the black flame ...would this help me expand i always thought Thelma was lightworker so im an open mind but learning NEVER truly ends so if I can gain from it let a brother sorcerer know 😊much love good well made videos. Blessings be to you
Hi Lynn, excellent video presentation. I do have a question, I'm hoping you may be able to answer, in particular because I don't want to 'out ' the organisation. I belong to a particular organization which incidentally also happens to use Liber 777. Again, I'm purposely leaving some things vague, due to oaths which I'd never break especially at my level. So, I suppose my 'vague' question, would simply be whether you're familiar with other secret orders who also use Liber 777? As I'm sure you may know as a follower of your channel, I've always been intrigued by Crowley, but thus far it's remained a fascination. I must admit I'm getting much more closer into becoming a Thelemite as a result of both my personal studies and your channel. Thank you so much for this video. 93 🖤
Thank you for following my channel. I am honored. Yes I am aware of a number of different secret orders that use Liber 777 outside of the OTO and A∴A∴s.
That is a question I think about a lot. The four color scales are based around the Tetragrammaton: King scale, Queen scale, Prince scale, and Princess scale. Some people believe these color attributions were divinely inspired and have different beliefs around when to use what. Without specific instruction from a teacher, then you should feel free to use what you feel is right based on the thing you are doing. When in doubt, many people default to the Queen color scale.
Great question. Color scales are just simply a chart of colors. Originating from the Golden Dawn, there are four color scales based around the Tetragrammaton: King scale, Queen scale, Prince scale, and Princess scale. An exploration of them here: www.lelandra.com/tarotbook/TreeofLifeColors.htm. Some people believe these color attributions were divinely inspired and have people have different beliefs around when to use what.
