Thanks! Yep, they are all pretty "trial and error" till you get it right. It can be frustrating sometimes cause they are all so important in making the car work too.
@@FullThrottleRC I went 2k diff fluid in rear 5lb spring and 40wt in the front with 7lb spring and started using beetle juice and cleaning the tires with simple green between passes and it has made a huge difference. Good luck thanks for the videos!
Thank you for the update! Nice to see you are making progress! I noticed that you have the side air wings mounted on the top side of the side mounting lugs. Can you mount them on the bottom side of the mounting lugs? I did that with my DR10 project and I was able to get them 8-10mm lower on the chassis, hopefully picking up more/cleaner air. Thanks again for the great vids! I've put my SC5M/B5M project on the back burner while I finish my DR10 pieced together build. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I'd assume I could mount them on the bottom side, never tried it. I'll have to try that out to see if I can get them lower without them rubbing the ground.
Great video. I'm just getting into no prep rc ( it hasn't really taken off here in Australia yet) so this is great info. I'm looking at either the losi 22s roller or the dr10 kit, haven't decided yet
Thank You!! I don't really have much experience with the Bandit or converting it to a drag car so I apologize that I can't help, but I know its possible. Good Luck!!
It could be a bunch of different things depending on where in the run its going left, check preload on the shocks or binding in the suspension for starters. If the suspension isn't reacting the same on both sides, that could drive the car one way or another. You can also play around with diff fluid thicknesses. If the fluid is too light, it can let one wheel spin faster than the other driving the car to the left.
@@FullThrottleRC oh sweet. Thanks man I've been teaching myself some basic CAD recently And although I am good with computers CAD software has humbled me quickly. I've only been printing for 90 days and have designed some basic things for myself but love checking out other people's things and maybe modifying them for my own uses if needed. Ty
There really isn't an answer I can give you to that question. It all depends on your setup and electronics and road conditions, so many things. Get a set of different pinion gears and some spurs as well. Start off with a larger spur and experiment with the pinions. Unfortunately, that's about the best advise I could give you.
I spent a lot of time working on the designs for that truck and getting everything to work right and how I wanted. I didn't want to just give all that time away. I feel like it's priced extremely reasonable
There's really no place to buy an upgraded car like this complete. Some good starting points are the Associated DR10 and the Losi 22s drag car though. You can find them all over online, I use amainhobbies a lot.
Like the video very informative. And no body ever went to jail or lost their life racing RC!
Thank you so much!
Nice bro
Thanks!
Fantastic video
Thank You!!
Thanks for helping me for mu 1st build!

No problem! Glad I could help in any way possible.
Great content brotha thx for the tips n tricks
Thank you!!
Great info bro. Love the videos!
Thank you!!
Good information. Diff and slipper setup and gearing is a hard thing to figure out on where to start.

Nice! I have the same chassis set up just ran 2.2 yesterday
Wow! That's impressive, looking to get to those numbers myself

Hey, man we need that go straight video. Asap lol. Season started lot of us need to fine-tune steering. I'm close but still having issues. Thank U!
Not sure if I'm the best person to be giving advice on that just yet but I've been working on picking up some tips to make a video
@@FullThrottleRC I see it like this any tips are good tips. Lol

Thank You!!! Both seem to be great options! Good luck on your build.
That's a awesome build, I'm having trouble looking for body mounts for my traxxas bandit I wanna get into drag racing,
Buy the Traxxas LCG chassis and move the front clip and rear clip over to it, get the proline 2wd fr/rr body mounts
Thank You!! I don't really have much experience with the Bandit or converting it to a drag car so I apologize that I can't help, but I know its possible. Good Luck!!
0:27 “so toDAy” 😂
What’s the Savox Servo model are you using?
Thank you good videos
Thanks!!
What type of rc car is this I like the way this one is set up
Associated SC5M drag conversion
My dr10 is kicking to the left....do you have any suggestions or things I can try?

Thanks alot I will try that today and see that helps
Was wondering if you'd be willing to share your bar mount design either privately or publicly, putting together an SC5M myself. Thanks,
I thought I had posted it on cults3d.com but apparently I didn't. I'll have to remember to upload that.
Do you share any of your 3d printed designs on any of the stl sites? Thingverse or cults3d?
Sure do! I have files on both sites. You can search "FTRC" to see what I have posted so far.

Wht is the best gearing for drag racing??

I have a question: why do you need to pay for the files fir the micro solid axle monstertruck?
I spent a lot of time working on the designs for that truck and getting everything to work right and how I wanted. I didn't want to just give all that time away. I feel like it's priced extremely reasonable
Ok, thanks for the reaction.
👍🏾💯
What rear sway bar set up is that?
Its the SC5M sway bar. Knew I forgot to cover something!

I think something messed up at the end of your video there
You are absolutely right, forgot to trim the audio track to fit the video🤦♂️🤦♂️
Where to buy

Very good Video I run in my b5m drag car a 4gear is 3 gear better
I'm not sure, haven't tested it out just yet. Just got the 4 gear case in to try it out.
You sound like a brother lol were you from
