I love our elderly community, love having random conversations with them when I take walks, they always have the best stories and seem to be on a different level than everyone else. There is a sense of peace being around them 🙏🏻🥰
This gave me such sadness, time is so cruel and passes by so fast. We remain young in our souls but unfortunately the body doesn’t and sometimes it’s very difficult to deal with it😔😭
The saving grace is as we get older. We are more ready to accept moving on to the next phase. I know there is Heaven because of my faith in Jesus. I am not afraid of death. Aging is the hard part. And seeing loved ones pass. I’m more afraid of what leads up to death, but I know He will be with me.
I absolutely agree with you, age is incredibly cruel! It’s so very hard to deal when your body lets you down. The only up side I can see is being old and getting older is so much better than the alternative!
I too found this profoundly sad… especially the elderly beautiful woman whose wish it was merely to die. Behind every lovely line in these faces I am sure is a story to be shared. How nice it would be to give them a platform from which to tell their stories, and not be just a witness to their transformed faces.
This is why I choose to believe in reincarnation. Having only one chance at youth or only one short life would just be cruel and pointless really. Even the earth is born again every spring.
One of my favorite memories is being able to enjoy my great grandmother who lived to 102. The stories and history she would tell me was better then any book or tv show. I could listen to her for hrs. I live in a very large farming community now and take fresh produce and eggs to our local elderly. They to have so much knowledge and stories, they absolutely love telling and teaching. It's ashame many elderly don't have anybody to tell their stories to. We should consider our elderly as priceless possessions. And cherish them.
Human life matures much like a delicate garden flower as its canvass wrinkles throughout time with delicate folds of character it always remains beautiful.🌹
It's very interesting how our noses and ears keep growing, as our lips and eyebrows thin out. I am also reminded of a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: Beautiful young people are accidents of nature; beautiful old people and works of art.
I couldn't help but look at their noses and ears, but I never previously thought about the lip factor. Marie Bruešová was utterly stunning when younger and a product of nature, at 101....or of blessed bone structure or she always had something to smile about. No sagging around her mouth or chin 🤔
They don't actually grow. The rest of the face loses volume- the combination of loss of facial bone mass, tooth loss, buccal fat pad loss and loss of the collagen frame work beneath the skin that leads to wrinkles, hollowing, sagging and inelasticity, so it only appears that the more cartilaginous structures of the nose and ears grew larger in contrast.
We change so much as we get older, but it's still us. Our faces are but a tapestry of time and experience...it's quite beautiful actually. Mystery Scoop..another pure winner ..as usual!
The elderly should be venerated and respected. It is such a shame some cultures feel they should be put out to pasture and ignored when they have so much wisdom to give us.
I agree! However, when our physical body finally dies, our consciousness goes to our true home, which is another dimension, and our learning will continue!
My sister in law is a nurse and made this point. Doctors and modern medicine want to aid us in being healthy and growing old, but once we get there, we're all but forgotten.
MysteryScoop, I love your video's! A few personal things hit home when I watched and read the descriptions. It related to some of my own life experiences that were recent. So keep up the good work!

Personally, I see far more beauty in the old faces than in the young faces. How wonderful it would be for all of us if people would stop seeing the aging process as "sad" and instead could see the grace and depth of it.
N. which makes no sense to me. Why would anyone want to look old. I am 69 and when I look in the mirror I would love to be 30 again and I shudder when I imagine what I may look like at 80. I will take youth any day of the week.
Your work is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.I am eighty years old recently I looked at my graduation picture and said you were pretty then, I never had considered myself pretty when I was young. Now I look like a hundred still smiling.
It's a privilege for sure but is it also a gift of life? I think it would be more a punishment. Even if you would have healthy years it could be a punishment. With that age your are damned...damned to see all your beloved ones passing away before you can leave this world.
I found the video very interesting to watch but it also saddened me. It is cruel what time does to us humans. When we are young we are all beautiful and most of the time the body functions perfectly. And then - although we remain the same inside - the reflection is different. And the body is no longer so comfortable to live in either.
I don't quite see it that way. I find it amazing they lived this long without major health issues. I find that beautiful. My mom is 72 with Dementia...now THAT is ugly.
Feel very sorry for the third and fourth person, both women. The one being scared her entire life, the other broken by sadness, anger and bitterness. Some people have to wait long to be freed by death.
I have followed your work for a while now and I am especially appreciative of the way you treat each subject with such respect and reverence. Your entire presentation and even the music you choose deeply celebrates each individual. Thank you!
My Busha was born in 1907. She married in the 20's and I have copies of her wedding photo. Such an incredible time! She probably would have lived to be 100 if not for the car accident that claimed her life when she was 81.
The eyes of these wonderful people speak a wealth and world of experience their eyes when they are young shows hope for the future. And in the older years peace.
Did you just skip 3 and 4? Nr. 3 looked so scared, already when young. Nr. 4 looked hopeful when young. But my, did her heart get crushed over time. She looks angry and bitter in old age. I felt very sorry for the both of them.
Beautiful! Thanks for that video. Please show us more. Ageing is a privilege... doesn't need to be hidden by beauty interventions. There ist so much dignity in the older faces, you never reach this dignity after interventions.
I will turn 52 tomorrow and to think one day later on in life when I reach God willing 82, I'll be wishing I was 52 again as I wish I was 22 now. Time is cruel.
This is very interesting and I have to say, the beauty of the cycle of life. For people to be blessed with a long duration of life is a feat within itself. Lastly for each and everyone of us to reach this longevity, we shall be a witness to others and ourselves.
Only for those, who were happy. Those who are not happy and not able to change the circumstances that keep them that way, longevity is but a prolonged curse.
Numbers 3 and 4 brought me to tears after reading about them. I don't know if I'd want or like to live until their age...I think I'd be content with a happy rest of of Life and knowing that my adult kids continue to grow and mature with time - not revert back to adolescence. Happy to say that both of them are doing just fine right now 🤗 These were beautiful, Mystery Scoop...Thank you!
It’s wild to think you have all day or even all week to do something and before you know it you look in the mirror and the look on your face says where has time gone to and before you know it your time is up . Don’t blink just like that your six years old and your taking a nap and you wake up and your twenty five and high school sweetheart became your wife is the truest part of life . Thank God for length of life these wonderful people has lived. 🙏🏻
Its very sad people have to age and get so old that they look like death warmed over. I hope they returned to their youth on the other side and are happy and at peace now.
What would be really interesting would be to take the youth photo and have it aged by the computer, then compare that version to what the person actually looks like today.
As always your videos are amazing but this one, also a little sad. I have photos of my Papa age 15, and he passed age 84. But look the same in his eyes. Age is a blessing, and I hope we all cherish our elderly. Thank you.
Thank you everyone!

My heart feels so much love, seeing people side by side as young and old. I could watch these for hours.
I agree with you 100%
I watched this video several times, caught myself going back, studying their facial features
I know! I don´t know if was the music or the fact to see youth and old age together what makes you have a feeling like love.
I agree. It’s so interesting… I’ll be watching to see if my ears get longer :). Love these!

Agreed
No thanks, my "gift" will only include Alzheimers and poverty. I'd prefer to turn it down
The main thing I gather from this is.........it is FAMILY that gives us good, long life........healthy, loving relationships.
Amazing, how the smile makes any face beautiful. Beauty is coming from inside, and many people with age become more beautiful.
And to think that each has the same heart that started beating before birth , and its still the same heart . Incredible .
