- Today me and dad have our first BBQ of the year! And have BBQ pizzas the next day. Then I take a cycle to the Stratford canal to have a look at the broken lock at Lowsonsford. To see how bad the damage is. I then head out at 1am to try and capture some photos of the stunning Aurora Borealis. After that I go on my Second solo cruise to the Hatton Flight!

Sorry for my speed in this video. I dont usually cruise at that speed, but i was suffering from quite bad anxiety and was frustrated that all weekend boats were bombing past me. I, of course, didn't go that speed past moored boats.

Hated tunnels as a child. Wet, cold and full of weird stuff I’d never seen before! I still flinch when I watch Olive go through a tunnel.

We have had awful weather here for months and there has been no summer to speak of yet. Fingers crossed 🤞 it improves 😊

How amazing that you manged to get some images of Olive under the aurora! Wasn't that an incredible sight? We got a couple of pictures but, Murphy's Law, we weren't at our boat! Ah well, maybe next time :)

Does andy paint the Olive Branches himelf or touch them up only. Very talented dad. Who looks after the cats when you go away. Shame you couldn't do the Stratford canal. Love the old Barel huts. Unique to this area i think. Lovely setting. You will have to come back and do this again.
