That looks very stable and it treks better than other kayaks ive seen. My buddy who fishes catfish tournanents put me onto the native and he uses a jackson. Should tell you something. Especially with me being a disabled veteran, it looks like it would be great for comfort and not keave me in pain.
Would you take this over the auto pilot if you already have a i pilot trolling motor and battery . Which feels more stable taking in mind the seat is higher.?
i like my autopilot, i dont need the drive so for me the autopilot works better, but if i fish a lot of waters that have current and offshore, i may wanna take this with teh drive
Hey man I got my original 13.5 because of you. How do you think the stability of the 12.5 X compares to the 13.5? Really said they stopped making the 13.5. Curious your thoughts since you’ve tried both.
It is only a native problem because only native ship these kayaks with these plugs that don't let water out. So water got in because 1 it was rough, big waves splashing, hard to see on camera but they were there. 2 there was a time I paddle it with the drive open or pedaled hard without locking it in. Once the water got in it stayed in. If I had the plugs off, you wouldn't have seen any water
@@AliexFolgueira gottcha buddy. So you don’t think there’s actually a problem with it? Just a normal amount like any other yak? My predator has the plugs with the check valves. Water can’t get in but can flow out. Well, you know
One adavntage i see is that if you want to peddle on a calm day on the water you can without the motor or the boat is useless . the auto pilot your stuck always with motor and no peddles . With the titan x you can have either or motor or peddle drive.
depends, are you going to rig it up like crazy or it is going to be a simple setup, pedals, small crate in the back and a few rods? no it is not worth the extra $800 but if you are huge, and need lots of storgage and you want to rig up lights and motors and God knows what, yes it is worth the extra
6 foot 1 245 lbs but fit not fat lol so I’m larger guy. This will primarily be for saltwater fishing for salmon and lingcod In Washington state. Stability is my major concern is it that much more stable than the old town pdl 120? Thanks for your feedback
It’s at a great price point especially when u compare it to other high end kayaks. Knarr, Big Rig, Outback, PA, AP, EPDL U can argue it’s better than all those kayaks yet cheaper.
It's going to be good, for lakes and rivers with no grass. if you hit grass or real shallow waters, pedal drive and trolling motor are useless. I have the Native Slayer Max 12.5...and is heavy to paddle with all your fishing gear. Just think about this baby being a 170+ pounds fully rigged and using your paddle for 20 minutes. Like I said before...will be good for lakes and rivers, but not for real shallow water. Pedal drive needs at least 18 inches of water, free of grass.
All that water came in because you didnt use the bungie straps on drive cover..that cover leaks really bad in rough water or when pedaling really fast. Same as slayer max. Strap it down folks 🤣
I'd love to own one, but unfortunately, I live in the swamps of Louisiana, and our native gators have started snatching anglers from their kayaks. Just like the killer whales that have begun attacking and sinking boats, our gators have gone nuts. We've had several attacks or attempts recently. Anyone who fishes down here have always had to deal with big alligators gathering around their boats in an effort to steal fish or, more likely, a sandwich from some idiot, but they didn't attack the boat. Well, that has changed with these low kayaks. Dont even get me started on how many cottonmouths will try and get in. And if you dont think they will, well come on down and fish. They even climb in bass boats on a regular basis. Here about it all the time. I bet any day Bull Sharks will beging flipping them. It was already in the news where a young woman and her boyfriend were knocked off Paddleboards and consumed. They only found the bite damaged Paddleboard. (Foreign island) not US
Millennium seats is the company that makes the seat. You can buy the locking base from them

well made, stable, plenty of options to add motors, winner
Hey Aliex sounds like you really like that kayak
nice boat
Do you find that water sits on the deck more than it should?
Hows the stability conpared to your autopilot? Do you notice any significant difference? I would assume the Native is more stable because its 41"?
I say they are about the same, that high seat is a concern though
Would you take this over the auto pilot if you already have a i pilot trolling motor and battery . Which feels more stable taking in mind the seat is higher.?

probably very comparable, not missing much in stabilty terms
Most stable kayak I have ever been in.
but you only been in hobies, easy beat! haha jk
@@AliexFolgueira the lynx is super stable
@@CyberYaker flip it
Whould you take this over the AP120?
No, autopilot is ready to go, don't need to do anything, but if you want pedals and no motors then
Do you think the seat needs a locking feature (in the forward position)?
I think so, I mean you can make it work but yeah
You can buy the locking base from the company that makes those seats
I purchased the locking base from Native.
@@EricGadson oh nice! glad there selling it. Makes it easier. But you can get it from millennium as well.
So much water in the boat!
It is a sit on top kayak, it had holes on purpose
Seems like a lot of water gets in? I’ve heard that about native. Why was there all that water in there?
It is only a native problem because only native ship these kayaks with these plugs that don't let water out. @seanmyhre1305 yup, if you were able to swap the plugs you would have the pooling water problem on the predator and not on the native
@@AliexFolgueira 👍
That seat is gonna be a problem. Also 05:08 still cant keep the deck dry...
