I guess I don't really understand. A dual-core CPU with massive overclocking and AVX-512 is still a dual-core CPU. Certainly more cores (and more cache) are going to be just as important, if not more so, in any software that is even built to take advantage of AVX-512 to begin with.
I bought some engineering samples from China once and the seller asked me if wanted him to remark them as commercial skus. I guess that's what's going on here?
Well the topic at hand is benchmarking and highest overall performance, so in those areas it is correct. Luumi is a pretty famous overclocker, so that's his focus for a lot of his content.
@@LuumiJuhani They did accidentally leave it on originally. At least some manufacturers were able to enable it, then Intel released an update and was mad at, I think MSI? Once u updated bios, you couldn't enable it ever again though.
Luumi you really need to get hci memtest pro it’s only 5 dollars and it’s so much better to use And no I’m from the Netherlands and I got it as well ;)

I feel so lucky that I have a 12700k that's old enough to use AVX-512.
My 12400T is a halo chip, thank you! I also have a G7400 at 5.4 @ 1.38 I use for daily gaming.

The argument comes from workloads where AVX-512 is more important than more cores, which does happen

avx-512 isn't used in any regular software nowadays besides ps3 emulator, so saying it's important isn't true.
Yeah it really depends on the use case. It is mostly pleasant to be found on 12900K or KS if possible.
@@LuumiJuhani all 12900KS in retail have it fused off. Even with old microcode AVX512 is not present on my 2021 KS.
