Hello - thank you for this tutorial. Is there a video you can recommend for hand sewing a leather jacket together? I'm a bit stumped on how to get through the notched collar when it has to bend inside to fit right!! Been stuck looking at it for yeas and have no way to learn what to do!

What do you do if the lace finishes before you go through all the holes ? Is there a way to amend them or do you calculate the length before? Is there any tip to calculate that ?
    thank you.

I saw you punch 1 piece of leather but then lace 2 together(1st demo) How did you assure your holes on each piece of leather aligned?

You use can use the first piece as a template.Stack the two after one is done with the finished bit on top and use your lacing chisel to either make marks or you can just drive the chisel through both.Either way.

At 7:00 you start to show the last step but you cut away to using the mallet to flatten the stitching. I have no idea what you did nor how to end the stitching. Could you please explain and show how/what you did?

Prepperjon He pushes the lace in-between the two pieces. You can add contact cement in the same spot you push the lacesthrough for extra strength, but it’s not necessary.
