    Dear professor Collier, thank you for the video! I have a question, is it possible to run a multilevel Sem in Amos?

      Sadly, no. AMOS does not run multilevel analysis. Your best bet for multilevel analysis is MPLUS

    Hello Mr. Collier,
    I have an amos result where the GoF is fit. However, the CMIN/DF value = 2.980.
    I read in your book on page 66 about measurement model analysis in AMOS, that CMIN/DF < 3 can be said to be fit. What is your basis, saying that it can be

      That is based on the work of Kline 2011 (referenced at the end of chapter 4). You will also see some say an "acceptable" fit is anything under 5. CMIN (chi-square) can be biased especially with large samples. Understanding the relative chi-square: chi-square/df will present a more rounded approach.

    Hi, do you know if SPSS 29 and AMOS 29 are still unable to use complex sample weights?

    • @joelcollier9387
      @joelcollier9387  4 месяца назад

      AMOS can not account for Sample weights. You need to weight the data in SPSS (new data column) and then pull that variable into AMOS. Little bit of a work around

    Hey. Thanks for the Video. I had a question about the sample size we will use on the correlation input file. Should the sample size N be weighted or unweighted? In my case since I'm running this on sub group so the weighted and unweighted sample are not equal

      In your example you would need to use the weighted sample size in the correlation matrix

      Just to clarify, I noticed that manifest variables were used in the AMOS path model. Would you actually get the covariance matrix for the summed variables instead of the individual items? Didn’t look like the indicators were actually modeled in the path diagram. Thanks for the video
