And when he sais "That is your one and only weakness" proves just how insanrly ridiculously over powered Julius is and the only thing that you can beat him in a straight 1v1 is to force him to protect his people. Just imagine him as enemy who does not need to protect anyone.

Just to put it out there.. Julius power is 100x stronger than Licht. The only reason Julius went down is due to the fact protecting not a small part of the kingdom but the ENTIRE kingdom. He also mentioned I wouldn’t want to “Wound” vengeance body. Meaning he had tons of chances to obliterate Licht and Catch him too if he wanted. Julius is simply a masterpiece.. This guy’s power is truly astonishing.

I love how Licht admits the only weakness of the wizard King is his title and responsibilities. He knew he couldn't beat him in terms of power so instead he took advantage of his desire to protect.

Zara's story made me cry. I lost my dad just a few years ago and I heard his friends talk bad about him and how they used him for some money and to go to the bar. They made him pay for drinks all the time and my dad was too kind. He kept paying for it without realising. This episode me cry..

IMO, this episode is the best episodes currently. Animation was spot on, fight was top notch, emotion is top tier, flashbacks in its finest, triple plot twist. The other best is episode 100

the thing that gets me worst when a major Shonen character dies is that either:
1- they are dead, and that is bs because I loved this guy
or 2- crappy power of friendship or some fake power saves their ass Natsu-style everytime

People usually talk about how Julius got nerfed after this. but I want to say the same thing about PATRY! Patry got nerfed, too. He wasn't the strongest, but he put a pretty good fight against Julius and he should've def been strong enough to hold his own against Zagred, at least for a little while. and also *MANGA SPOLIERS*
in the Spade arc, he almost did nothing, except saving William which wasn't even his doing exactly. I find it a shame just how Patry got nerf AND irrelevant to the story after this arc. he was my favorite.

What If...... Julius saw so far into the future that he knew he would survive that attack and being the person who loves seeing all kinds of magic he decided to let Licht/Vangence charge up his super light attack, which during that very moment of charging up Julius could've easily capture Licht/Vangence.... just saying I seriously think he was dying inside like "WHOAAAAAA, LOOK AT THAT LIGHT MAGIC!!!"
Wow such an amazing twist really gives this fight a whole new meaning now 🔥🔥🔥
