The coating for weather shield, how long will it last and how often should you treat the tent and seam seal? Very cool tent and design. hopefully it is in the works to take this design and make a smaller foot print for one person tent as well.
Most PU coatings start to breakdown after 2 years of use. Ours should last 3x that long. We do recommend seam sealing your tipi, especially around the stove jack, the cone construction and the trekking pole pressure points.
I want a Solitude teepee tent, however I find giving up my Hellebergs with their footprint, bathtubs floor and inner tent unreasonable. My teepee tent must have all the same features as my Hillebergs and still have the capability to have a stove, so it would need stove jacks. I look at a new teepee tent as a long term investment and that investment needs to have an advantage over the investments I have already made. What say you @Peax
The great thing about our STORMSHIELD coating is that it is specially formulated to last up to 3x longer than traditional coatings. You should get lots of life out of it.
Excited to put this bad boy through the paces!!! 👍👊👍
Thanks James! Can't wait for you to put it to work
Awesome design. Would love to use it in the ID panhandle this year
Pretty badass tipi. I don’t even need one but kinda want it.. haha
haha, then you better get yourself one!

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing...moderation is for cowards. Good job
Innovate or Die!!! Thanks for your support!
If PU coating goes bad after a couple years can y’all reapply it for the customer? Or is it just done for

I need this in dyneema cubin fiber 🤤
We are considering it for the future.
I think I'm sold, but what is your opinions on stoves? Brands etc.
We hear great things about a lot of stoves but the ones we hear the most about are the Winnerwell, Pomoly and Seek stoves.
What length of stove pipe are you recommending? The one in the video looks to be several feet above the peak.
We recommend a 9 foot pipe. the one in the video is a bit longer than that and maybe a little over kill.
@@PEAXEquipmentCo Okay thank you.
