Just put together my own karlov deck and u pointed out some solid cards I missed. One card I’ve been having good luck with and didn’t see mentioned is Obzedat, Ghost Council cuz it triggers a life gain off of its self and another off of any soulsisters on the field. Awesome review
Love this, I have a budget(ish) Karlov deck myself! Maybe also Prism Ring, and Light of Promise. Wall of Reverence makes my opponents groan (at beginning of your end step, you may gain life equal to the power of target creature you control) which is great once you have a few counters on Karlov.
Just started building my Deck but i will include nyktos-paragon and Celestine, the living saint. And i just added the Key to the City because of your video, have almost missed that jewel. What i have found as a white ramp with lifegain is Sunblade Samurai, i think this will perform good (2):Discard: Search for Plains on Hand and gain 2 life.
Polluted bonds, sheoldred the apocalypse, serra ascendant, the ozolith, bontus monument, bloodchief ascension. These are definitely not budget friendly though, but neith is exquisite blood so theres that
@MTG Matt now adays he is a lil rough to play cause everyone plays so much removal and he will be biggest threat very early but doesn't do enough late game.
@@Camp_MTGOllenbock Escort is really great with Abiding Grace. Let’s you swing in safely with Karlov, gain bunch of life and get escort back to do it again. Benevolent Bodyguard and Alseid of Life’s Bounty can do similar things too Return to the Ranks is great mass reanimation for your small utility creatures too. Can even get Karlov back if commander tax has gotten too high
I really like Animation Module with Karlov. If you have a soul sister effect in play it becomes pay one get two +1 counters and a chump blocker Umezawa’s Jitte is generically good but Karlov turning the lifegain into a permanent buff is a neat trick if you have space for it
@@Camp_MTG felidar sovereign, test of endurance, serra avatar, ayli eternal pilgrim with tree of predition, serra avatar, and soul of eternity, wall of reverence, nix fleece ram, really any card that guarantees an instance of life gain every turn stacks quick, and to really twist the knife archfiend of despair is pretty fun.

Those are great suggestions, I especially love the prism ring, I've never seen that one but it's exactly what this deck wants!

Was obsessed when this card released.
I've built it twice. Once as soon as it released, took it apart. Then rebuilt it again better than ever a year ago! Still love it

Feel like you're missing abiding grace, and spirit link. Spirit link does not say lifelink so you can put it on opponent creatures and gain life

Run things with extort, lot's of them.
