How to Crochet a Scarf for Beginners | The Horizontal Scarf Series (Take 1)
Even though the Atreyu Crochet channel is for beginners, I think it's necessary to build upon the basics. The great thing about crocheting is that even the most complicated of patterns can still be broken down to the very basics of crocheting.
Don't ever approach a crochet pattern with doubt. Simply break down the pattern and approach it one stitch at a time. If a stitch is foreign to you, then find a RUclips tutorial on it, learn the stitch, and resume with the pattern. Although our starting point is that of a beginner, it is also true that that is not our destination.

Nice. I just made this and added some tassels. Took the afternoon while watching a couple movies. I do like horizontal patterns. You should do both ways with the same yarn to show the color change.

Soooo pretty! I'm going to try to make a Beetlejuice themed scarf with white and black stripes and with some green in it. Not sure which way or how to incorporate the green. Not sure if it should be black, white, green Etc or just put a green stripe here and there, what do you think?
I like the idea! I would use the green sparingly, making each occurrence kind of random and different so that it looks like splats of goo. Make sure you choose the right shade of green too. I’m thinking a brighter green. I hope that helps! Let me know how it turns out 🙂

Hi..i have a question. If you put hook into the 3rd stitch from the hook...how do you prevent from a hole being there
There shouldn’t be a hole. The chain 3 counts as a stitch and should lay adjacent to the double crochet next to it.
