It was UNBELIEVABLE to be able to see it in person at the Petersen! Thank you both for keeping it on a time share there for the public to see. Look forward to seeing what is in store for it when y’all get it back home!!
It's been a while since I've seen the tv show but I remember the car well. It's surprising to me that it doesn't have tinted windows anywhere and I never gave any thought to there being more than one car. Thanks Adam for the new video.
Well this was the pilot car for season 2 meaning all the shots of them on the road were filmed in this car while it was being towed. Other cars for the self driving and such had tint. The camera cars always tend to have clear glass to see the actors most clearly.
The Super Pursuit footage was done via undercranking the film. Meaning that the film was run through the camera at a slower speed. Then, when projected at normal speed, it made the car appear to go faster.
The car did amazing things. The story of a man was shot in the face and left for dead. Then given a new face via plastic surgery and then given a mission that one man can make a difference was the ideal that stuck with me for generations.
According to stunt coordinator Jack Gill, they never put 350 engines in any of the cars.I asked him at my event, Southern Knights Atlanta. He said, "We ran what we had."
From Knight Rider Historians page, they had mentioned how in the Super Pursuit Mode cars they be flying by 100-120 sometimes then sped that up obviously and how one of those cars had an 350. If you heard from the man himself Jack Gill, I won’t hold that to you!!
Glad you got a chance to see our car!

@@BuiltTough1776 That's kinda what I figured. Clear glass to see them better. I've seen old tv shows where the car's glass was removed.
Nice find!!

Yeah, what a pity the scanner isn't switched on for display. Is it off display now?
