- I also haven't done an official lawn care vlog since 2020! But yes, the Cheetah is back. It was a combination of fuel problems and electrical problems. But at 12 years old it shouldn't be relied on as the primary mower. It will however be used every week again!

I really enjoyed your narration. Another fun video to watch. Keep them coming!
Thanks, Lindsay.
The cheetah has been a member of your team for a long time! Glad to see it back in action keep up the videos
Yesssss! my favorite internet lawn mower! Mike & his fabulous Cheetah!!! I so do miss this Cheetah! I still fondly remember your longer video's you use to do with the Cheetah. Glad you are fixing her up!!! And as far as you talking on your video's... I use that as a time to learn from someone more knowledgeable than me. The Cheetah made quick & nice work of that field. Looks like the blades gave you a good cut in those yards. "The Cheetah is Back!" More Cheetah Video's Mike!!!!
Thank you for such a nice comment. :)
Love your videos, glad the Cheetah is back and running. The video of you cutting that septic tank where the grass was insanely tall and the Cheetah went thru it with no problem is the video that got me started on your channel
Oh wow, yes, I remember that one. Glad you're here.
Good ole Cheetah is back, yaaayyy! So glad it performed so nicely & properties looked great!
👏👏👏👍👍👏👏👏
Dearly missed this style of video from you
It is a nice surprise to see all these supportive comments! Sorry I was a bit bitter. I've been over on Facebook getting obliterated in the comments for a while. I wouldn't dare post an actual vlog over there. But I guess I really can here on RUclips. So, vlog 55 here I come... Thanks.
Yes, please do the talking. I learned so much as what lawn mower is good and can last, especially that we probably have to switch to battery. It's coming. But in any case, thank you for the information and videos. 👍
You're welcome. Thanks for your comment.
Hooray!! Mike on the Cheetah!! Great sight. Thanks!! 🙋♀️😊
Wow that thing is a beast
I would like to see the electric zero turn run.😊
he he, me too. I'll dig it out and see what it will do.
Which blades are you most fond of? For myself, ever since you showed the Finisha blades, I haven't turned back. Happy to see the Cheetah back out on the grassy plains running free, once again. 😃👍
Yea, I'd have to say the Finisha blades are the best.
I THOUGHT you use to use the Kavli blades! When you were showing your new one I was thinking you were actually the person who introduced me to them. 👍 Do you like these better?
@karenheartoriginal3783 No. The Kavli blades are much better. I just wore out the Kavli blades. I'll use up these 8Ten blades then return to Oregon Gator blades.
Very happy to see the cheetah back in action, looking forward to some big grass slowmo mowing.
He he, yea probably.
Mike, what originally drew me to your channel was you speaking from experience. I for one appreciate what you have to say.
Thanks for that.
I would love to own that cheetah 😊
Yay the OG , I hope the Cheetah just keeps on getting it! Love the Cheetah!
Love your videos! Great to see the Cheetah again!
It's great to see the Cheetah back wow. It's been around for quite some time alright and has been the best zero turn for you
Yea and I'm having no problems now, so you'll see it more.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎
I'm surprised there's still vacant land left in Florida. Glad you got the cheetah back out
Yea, the owner of this lot wants to build his retirement house here eventually. That's why it's still there. Many builders are trying to buy it off him.
@@Something2LookAt I'm sure. He'd make a killing if he sold but then it would be neat impossible to find any vacant land there
Have a good rest of the season and protect yourself from the heat/sun
That's cool.
I am so glad that the big cat 🐈 is back
Talk all you want to on you videos. Nice to see the Cheetah back in action. Those 8-ten blades wouldn't be worth a hoot up here in this limp northern grass, especially lately with the spring rush growth we've had. I find it hard to beat the Oregon 91-638 blades for both price and performance. under my Cheetah They are Oregon's version of the oem blades. I see you have the turbo baffle out again. I wouldn't take mine out for anything. The chute opening is so large there's no need. Taking it out might be helpful on an Exmark since the chute opening is so small, but I like that added discharge pressure and distance with it in for this grass, especially when the grass is wet.
Oh wow, I forgot all about the turbo baffle. I don't even know where it is exactly anymore. Wow.
@@Something2LookAt You'll want to find it. Those things are over $60 bucks from a dealer.
Long live the Cheetah! Funny you would say how heavy it is I got stuck today with the Toro but I was able to push it just enough to get the wheel free! But if it was as heavy as that Cheetah it ain't gone happen!🤣 And yes the Cub may not be the biggest and baddest but it's DEFINITELY RELIABLE 💯
Don’t forget to heat shrink those connections
Yes, I noticed when I was filming. :)
VERY happy to see you posting this type of video again! And please do make occasional videos with talking. How else could you tell the viewer information if you didn't talk!
Yea, I hear ya. The word "vlog" in the title should keep talk-hating people from clicking on it, but they click.
@@Something2LookAt Make the content you want to make. There's always someone who likes it.
The Cheetah is looking good!
Glad you got that mower fixed up and running again something to look at
Indeed, it was a trip using it again. The Cub Cadet is so light and nimble, but the Cheetah is truly a tank!! In most regular yards it makes far more sense to use the Cub Cadet, but in the larger yards and especially the estates, I have the Cheetah option again. :)
@@Something2LookAt cool beans 🫘 there some thing to look at
I also wanted to mention that all your wire connections should be waterproof using marine grade shrink tubeing which has a adhesive coating on the inside so when you shrink it it seals up preventing moisture and water from getting in which can also find on Amazon, nice to see you back doing videos. 😊😊
That is a good point given how often these mowers are out in the rain.
Long live the Cheetah!
Awesome to see the Cheetah again! I've wanted a Scag ever since I saw you using it the first time, I'm rocking an Exmark right now, but some daaaaay... :D
I learned grass is actually abrasive to keep things from wanting to eat it
i wonder if a car bucket seat would fit on that
Mike, tell everybody to piss off if they don’t like what you’re putting out
Yea, you know what, you're right.
I don't mind you talking to us. I also kind of like the electric mowers. I just enjoy watching you mow with anything, really. You're really the first mowing channel I got into way back. I wonder how many viewers remember the Great Dane. That's how far back I started watching.
Yep, maybe the Great Dane can return too. It's a head gasket on that one.
Yey the cheeta back missed it im glad you got it sorted you will get your confidence back
Question... is it comfy ot looks it
And do the videos as you want its good to talk
Yes, quite a comfortable ride. :)
How many miles you have on the Tacoma?
That's the old Tundra actually. The old Tundras look like the newer Tacomas. Mine is a 2002. It has about 120k miles.
water in the fuel system? do you run non ethanol fuel. Ethanol contributes to water being there.
Na, I just leave it out in the rain a lot. There's a weird thing with heat and cooling that can suck the water into the pin hole. Then there's all the times when I'm adding a gas can to the tank while it's drizzling. Not bad for 12 years though. Never cleaned the fuel system before.
The beast is back!! No Kavli blades anymore?
Well, I did use up the Finisha blades. I do still have the Beast blades, but they are pretty aggressive for regular yards. But I also still have the super Finisha X-Treme blades, the X shaped blades. I might have to try those out again at some point. Those are cool!
How many hours do you have on the Cheetah?
What size trailer is that
It a 6x12.
I want to see pinecones get mowed!
he he, the Cheetah is a fine pine cone mower!
And get a umbrella for your tripod so you're camera has shade area.
Well the phone camera would overheat anyway, and you have to be careful with something like an umbrella catching the wind and the whole tripod blowing over. My camcorder has never overheated, so that's what I use. But I would like some kind of tiny sun shield even for it.
No problem with talking when showing the equipment working or new product information. You did go back and trim that grass patch down though, right?
he he, no. I really did leave it there. :)
I thought it was a 60
Yea, it's a 61. It has 3 of the 21 inch blades but I guess how they are staggered on the deck they made it a 61.
@@Something2LookAt I thought you said 52 lol
@@detailsmatters-xw9ro Oh, wow, maybe I did? I'll have to review my own video. But it is a 61.
It might be worth your time to get rid of the crappy plastic plugs and go back to old fashioned soldiering.
Oh, well you want to be able to unplug them.
@@Something2LookAt
Just saying that the plastic connectors aren’t known for reliability or dependability.
@@usernamempk Indeed.
