13 soldiers of the Russian army surrendered to Ukrainian fighters near the city of Sudzha, Kursk region of Russia. Footage of the surrender of the Russians was shared by the command of the Ukrainian ground forces. The Russian soldiers who were sent from the front in Ukraine to Kursk and fought for 5 days announced their intention to surrender by raising a white flag when the Russian soldiers did not receive any support from the command and were left without food, water and ammunition. Among the servicemen, mainly from Yakutia, four were seriously injured.
Recall, earler, aptured soldiers said they'd received as little as one week of training before being sent to the front. Food and water were limited, and often, they had to buy supplies with their own money, they said. Many complained about the leadership of their officers, who, they said, didn't participate in the costly assaults.
Last month Ukrainian Security Service unit operating in Russia’s Kursk region took 102 Russian servicemen as prisoners-of-war, according to a person with knowledge of the operation, who asked not to be identified because the matter is sensitive.
The Russians were captured in a sprawling underground complex, and had ample stocks of ammunition and supplies, the person said.

They never wished to fight in the first place. It was all Putin's doing, forcing unwilling young men to partake in his cruel war.
Maybe just maybe, word might get around that Ukraine, actually takes care of them better than their own commanders and the Kremlin does. Ukrainians, exchanged for Russian prisoners, look like crap all the time. Instead of Rootin' Putin getting his precious U.S.S.R. back, maybe Ukraine will expand🌻a little bit more.

The responses to invasion from both sides screams volumes about their respective homelands. Ukrainian soldiers fought back, are still fighting, and will never stop fighting until every last Russian is repelled. Russian soldiers on the other hand immediately surrender. They haven't occupied the plant. They weren't that far, although I think those were mainly scouts. The reason is there are drone images of the plant by the Ukrainians. In Kurks the Russians tried to counterattack from the west side side towards the east. Ukrainians crossed the border in a new incursion and now those Russians are in danger from two sides. Inside Ukraine it did stall and apparently they pulled some troops to move to Kurks. There is not a lot of movement still inside Ukraine.

@@miticmilos if you look at the changes in the maps, that's not true. While the Russians are advancing in Ukraine, it is at a snails pace with heavy casualties. The are around Russia is bigger than what the Russians took in 6 months of a supposedly Russian counter offensive.
