I have got my sons D750 torn apart to fix a loose hot shoe. When I removed the top of the camera there were three wires under on/off knob that had to be disconnected. I think one was a 2 wire connection, one 4 wire connection and a single white (can be red) wire that has a tiny snap type fitting. I can not get that wire to snap back on. Do you have any pointers to getting them things to work. I have never had a problem with those connections in the past. It just does not want to snap back on. If I can not get it back on can I solder that connection? Not sure if the board is sensitive to heat? Any help will be appreciated.
A single white wire for Wi-Fi, You have to point at middle and press it with tweezer. There are 2 connections wire into a single wire, if you use solder on it, it will get short circuits in Wi-Fi small board. Don’t use solder.
@@icammech Yeah, the tiny connector end of that wire is toast. And, i did notice two conductors in the wire, don't want to solder that. Just glad it is wifi. Do not mind losing that. It looked to me like it was going to the onboard flash. Anyway, I appreciate the quick response and would like to ask you another question. Where do you get your Nikon parts?
Good job 👏👏👍👍 keep it up 😊
