    The judge in the back round to the right is Sifu Paul O Shea gentleman with the white hair. I used to train with him in wu-style tai-chi pretty Kool!

    This is taichi push hands. You can see you have integrated the form, you stay within the bell or circle and you accept pushes and redirect force.

    Finally a push hands competition with real skill. You have fantastic control over your center. I'll bet you do a lot of stance training. I'd love to see you in a moving competition. Nice job. I'm thinking this is the competition in Orlando judging by the familiar faces I see in the crowd.

    Enjoy the match but not sure why opponents are not wiping theie opponenet off of them.. Also why does the opponent why not push you when you are in down position usually you can get them off balance once they are down as they have to come back up.

    I like the whole vid but I especially like around 3:20 he pushes your arm/shoulder area and your arm goes total yin allowing the energy to attach to nothing, then you rotate back up with the yang side to push him out. Great stuff!

  • @ytb460
    @ytb460 3 года назад +3

    He has clearly done lots of standing and is used to sinking and taking force. He seems to use his hands and arms here though so no idea how good he is at using his body to absorb and project energy. This is still far far better than most.

    This style of “push hand” is certainly a sports with its own rule, but it is not the real Taiji Push Hand. Taiji uses push hand as a training or verification method to see if a practitioner has found Jin, it is not supposed to be a competitive sports.
