@@tonycox7802 The car belonged to a man that was a very close friend of my father they both served together in World War two in the navy. i was names after this man he was well off. after the war he opened some motor lodges in Florida, but my father worked as a mechanic at a Lincoln Mercury dealership.
Shame the air-conditioning system wasn't shown a rare option costing $1000 on top of purchase price. The body has 2 vents on the quarter panel with the condenser unit in the boot behind the back seat. The vents for the aircon were in the roof 2 vents either side .
You are right, the AC was a rare option and it is installed on this car. You can see the unit in the engine compartment while the engine is running at about 3:45-3:50. The roof vents you mentioned are also visible at 1:30-1:33. Thank you for your comment.
