Adam a.s. (the first human) comes from what is today Sri Lanka ( India Subcontinent). In Islam there are no prophets from Europe, China and so on. Not even in Christianity because all three religians: Judaism, Christianity and Islam were established in the Middle East.

how could adam be a prophet. A prophet is someone that was sent from god to tell people what will happen and what god will do so like a messenger. But at the time of adam there was no one else except him and then later on his wife.
He had many children. Two prominent ones are Habil and Qabil, Qabil who became the first murderer. His children certainly would have needed guidance and there would be a need to teach them about Islam.
Then what is the essence of him living for 1000 more years then if he wasn’t the beginning of the prophet and messenger hood !!

Also, in several hadith it is mentioned that Adam was the first prophet but the first messenger was Prophet Nuh A.S.: Abu Umāmah al-Bāhili (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, was Adam a prophet?" He said: 'Yes.' The man said: "How long was the period between him (Adam) and Nūh?" He replied: "Ten centuries." Sahih/Authentic. - [Al-Haakim]

Aḥmad is another name for Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ). Both are derived from ḥa-ma-da which means ‘praise.’

In Jesus' farewell discourse in the Gospel of John (chapters 14 to 16), Jesus speaks about the coming of the "Spirit of Truth" or "Advocate" (in Greek, parakletos). Ahmad (another name of Muhammad PBUH), is very close etymologically to the Greek word, parakletos, so it is likely that the Qur'an is claiming that Jesus' farewell discourse in the Gospel of John predicts Muhammad.
